As a scientist, not really. Her character is about compassion, like how she wants to be in Hospice care. Plus her and Rick are okay together like when Rick was apparently calling her over and over crying about Morty.

but the idea of a dumb stupid little loser being dragged around on weird magical scifi adventures with both his scientist grandma and his scientist friend (not crush because thatd ruin it imo), who he both loves but both are a couple of odd and maybe even shitey people who constantly fight for his attention... that sounds like a solid plot

You're supposed to see her as above average in attractiveness compared to the other characters, so her design is less geometric and overall made up of shorthand symbols of attractiveness. It's why she has almond eyes with lashes and Summer has round, lashless Jerry eyes.

Not really. Athletic girls that age can be just south of 6 feet tall thanks to healthy eating these days. Boys don't catch up till later and Morty is supposed to have come from loser genes anyways.

Are we really doing this? Hospice/Nursing home workers that are white seem to hate their jobs and the non-white ones are ooga boogas from Nigeria and Bangladesh that don't give a shit because it's not their grandparents dying in the ward.

Jessica going into nursing just makes her worse because people only go into nursing to "make lots of money" and then realize that surgery, doctoring, nursing all pay well because they're terrible big brain jobs where you need to not only know what you're doing but you're also 99% liable if someone steps in their own fluids, trips and dies.

Considering we only have one episode where Jessica is shown being into that, I agree with you. I agree, until we get more episodes exploring her character. I'm thinking maybe 1 or two 3 out of 50 episodes.
