Ivy's wedding dress. Thoughts?

Nice trips, but at this point who the fuck would wish someone like Ivy on Kiteman? The producers wanted Harley and Ivy together, they literally spoiled that the show ends with them together months before the season aired because people accused them of baiting. But instead of just getting that Harlivy on from the beginning, they involved Kiteman more and more and more... because?

I like Kite Man.

I don't know. Kiteman goes from being loveable for Ivy, to looking like Ivy settled for him. Last episode he talks about watching 6 hours of tv together. I feel like show now has to make Harley change for Ivy.

They made Ivy worse because they knew no matter how hard they tried to make Harley the better partner, she would still be a shit choice.

We're supposed to think that Harley is the exciting, fun partner but eh, she looks like a flimsy dumbass more and more. Not that Ivy is better at this point, mind that. Kiteman should be single.

There was a fellow that worked on this thing and leaked a lot of shit (called on episodes' plots, events and even number order before there was a possibility to predict proper). It's known that Ivy won't tell him anything about what she actually feels/wants or kiss/sex stuff with Harley before the altar itself, but Kite Man will learn about it himself the episode before, just before the thing. Of course, it won't do shit to the wedding (title), which probably means that Kite Man takes that in stride, so the obvious upcoming blow wouldn't be as unfair as it will probably be.

What would be the point about making sure that Kiteman 'knows' about everything, but at the same time have him take the whole thing 'in stride'? Sounds like you just want the storyline to paint Kiteman as a nice guy that gets screwed over.

Not him but they've already portrayed him like a nice guy who got screwed over. And not "nice guy" as a pejorative term, he's genuinely good right now, so it's just degrading to keep stringing him along like this.

Fair enough. Ivy knows how sensitive he is, and she still wants to have a safe marriage with him, so it's more like she doesn't do it on purpose so he would stay completely loyal. I really think he will learn about it by himself from some bullshit mistake just before the wedding, so when the fallout at the wedding takes place, he'd be more accepting of Ivy's obvious choice.

They keep saying Kiteman will come out "smelling like roses." But I'm not buying it.

I'm sure Kiteman will get cucked and he'll be ok with being cucked because he wants Ivy to be happy. Which is bullshit. Not because she and Harley are a crappy couple necessarily, but because Kiteman is a person with feelings and doesn't deserve to be treated like a prop. Ivy cheated on him twice and has no intention of bringing that up. Even when Ivy turned Harley down, she didn't mention how much she loves Kiteman, just implying that he was the safe, stable option.

So yeah, it would be nice if Kiteman served them a slice of humble pie rather than just stepping aside or getting shot or something. They maybe kinda sowed the seeds when he was flabbergasted that King Shark didn't get turned down a bunch before his wedding.

Almost every in this show is a new character. It's like the creator look at the history of DC (movie, cartoon, and comics) like a menu and just picked what they like and didn't like and cobbled up a new character.
