>needs to have sex for personal validation >breaks down when she’s turned down by attractive men >frequent masturbator, even when the porn isn’t appealing to her >loudly orgasms, even when her friends mom is in the house >watches her friends boyfriend walk around naked at night >defies doctors orders to get her pussy eaten by her ex
Would Eve be considered a coomer or just your average horny woman?
Girl is dating the guy and eventually realize the reason why he was always avoiding her is because he was just manipulating her to be one of his sex toys rather than an actual girlfriend
Dylan Walker
She was hoping to rekindle an old relationship, thinking he came to NYC just to see her again, only to find out he's been there for a while and was only looking to hookup/see casually. Also this is post-fucking brunch
Aiden White
they weren't dating, he's an old boyfriend she was hoping to start seeing again
Ayden Robinson
Eve (woman) and Park (man) used to date. Their relationship ended when Eve was too scared to move to Chicago with him. As the series progresses, Eve missed Park and hoped they'd pick things back up. When they meet up, they have sex. Eve thinks he returned to reconnect with her and that they're getting back together, but finds out Park doesn't intend on it. Eve loses it when she finds out that he was there for a week and only reconnected on the last few days of his trip. She throws a drink in his face and emotionally breaks down in the next page.
Levi Long
Park isn't that smooth to manipulate Eve into being a consistent fuck toy. But Eve's self-esteem is low enough to where she could probably be manipulated into that.
Eli Gomez
having actually read it, was she justified here? because on one hand i would say that fucking your ex and then bailing is shitty, but i also know that “casual” sex is what all the kids are doin these days
Adrian Anderson
Lol
Jeremiah Ross
Its not really a right or wrong situation.
Dick move from a guy who wasn’t thinking about his actions is responded to with a childish gesture by a hipster who’s struggling to fully be an adult when she was 75% on the way to age 30-tier adulthood in her late teens.
She’s not wrong for being upset, but the sudden extreme of action is an immature gesture that worsens the situation by picking a fight in the most public way possible with a guy who didn’t get it and will only act indignant if its pointed out to him.
Evan Young
this looks great, source?
Julian Richardson
Kind of. She was laboring under a misconception as to her importance to him and his reasons for being back in town, but he didn't tell her about why he was actually there under after they'd had sex and she was feeling vulnerable because he took advantage of her for a quick fuck. Neither was in the right.
Justin Jenkins
>was she justified here?
It depends on who's side you lean more towards in this. From Eve's perspective, Park said he missed her, had sex with her, and took her out to lunch. He showed that he at least held some sort of romantic attraction to her, giving her some hope for a rekindled romance. From Park's perspective, he just wanted to reconnect, have sex with someone he's already had sex with before, and catch up on the way out. Eve never really proposed getting back together and that idea was basically a creation of Eve's imagination and desire. Park is a bit scummy for banging his ex he hasn't even spoken to in years, but Eve also wrong to think that just because your ex wants to see you that it means he wants to get back together.
Eve probably shouldn't have thrown the drink. Park probably shouldn't have fucked Eve. My take is that both are wrong in this case, but Eve let her hopes get the better of her.
Octopus Pie. The arc in the OP is from the arc where she tries to seduce a New York Times writer but he ends up not being able to maintain his erection and she ghosts him
He was a creep about it, but she wanted the dick too. Then finding out he wasn't around for her pissed her off.
FWB is a lie because someone always catches feels and it ends up with her having an emotional breakdown or him not moving on when told ain't his property.
Brayden Smith
No, just a slut created by a pseud. basket case.
Josiah Cox
I wonder if Eve ever grew up after the series concluded. In many ways, the final three arcs were a turning point for her. She ends up in a relationship with a more mature Will, is forced to leave her low wage job, and finally cuts Park out of her life. In many ways, she's still a broke hipster but she's made to confront the unknown future ahead of her rather than remain attached to the known but unhealthy aspects of her past.
Jaxson Murphy
Would Eve even be good at sex? She's had sex in nearly every arc of the comic and implicitly had sex in her early teens. Is it something she'd actually be good at or is it something she's so used to doing, it's more of a reflex than something she's actually into/good at.
Luis Cox
>created by a pseud. basket case. What's wrong with Gran? Is she crazy/an asshole?
William Thomas
I don't think it really counts as FWB though? At most it was a hookup, but Eve thought it was going to be a relationship while Park just thought it was a cum-and-go. FWB is different, no?
Jason Sanders
If the guy was being a creeper or scumbag then why'd he take her out to eat afterwards? He doesn't seem to be hiding the fact that he's only in town for a while and that he was there for sex. Was he genuinely being a creep or does she just misunderstand his intentions?
Isaiah Peterson
This looks a lot like Scott Pilgrim.
Mason Stewart
Is OP a meme spouting faggot?
Jonathan Williams
I don’t think he was creepy. He probably did misunderstand Eve’s intentions of getting back together. Not the best move to fuck your ex after not seeing them for a few years but nothing inherently wrong about it.
Contextually, he’s sorta a douche. In the next page, he tries to lord his superiority over Eve to shit talk her for being less successful than him. He also cheated on Eve in the past, though that doesn’t really come into play here
>, he tries to lord his superiority over Eve to shit talk her for being less successful than him I think that kind of insult is completely justifiable in that situation > He also cheated on Eve in the past, That's fucked up and there's no excuse for that
Ryan Campbell
The two series are commonly compared to each other, and O’Malley wrote an accolade for one of the first book releases Octopus Pie’s author made. The author also acknowledges the comparison in her recent commentary on the series.
she at least can´t latch onto her comfy work and her funny friends: everything moves on, and she has to do something with her life too. At least she stays with a guy who loves her, even if knowing her very, very well.
it looks more like she can´t get complete satisfactions if it´s not by physical intercourse with another person (she is terrible at fapping and porn). Being an experienced sexual person is not bad, but demanding that every single sexual relationship you have must be an orgasmplosion, is.
