i actually liked pilot rick a lot better than the one we ended up getting. he wasn’t an outright asshole as much as he was just sort of loopy, which i thought made for a more entertaining dynamic.

R&M is one of those shows where i thoroughly enjoyed the pilot, but the series itself ended up not being my cup of tea. i just can’t stand rick as a character now.

He was much more Doc Brownish than tips fedora
