Yes considering there was always some media around him. That being said I been a bit tired of just how much Batman there is. But that's maybe me liking Batman as "bad dad and his broken family" which you don't see as much nowadays.

Not really. Yeah, he was popular, but he wasn't DC's golden goose until rather recently.
