Greetings Citizens. I love participating in voting tournaments on this board so I thought I'd start one myself. I've picked 64 shows made by the Cartoon Network for Adult Swim and I've pitted the against each other in this very calculated tournament bracket.
>Ballmastrz: 9009 vs Tigtone! >Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal vs Space Ghost: Coast to Coast You goddamn devils
Connor Sullivan
Most of Round One was trimming the fat, but some brutal matchups were unavoidable. I'm really interested to see how Primal does, if it gets through Space Ghost and Home Movies, it could take this whole thing. I know Zig Forums really loves it, for good reason.
Jacob Taylor
I've only probably seen a quarter of the shows in those matchups.
Cameron Allen
Aren't you supposed to seed the participants before making a bracket? Otherwise you'll just get heavy hitters taking each other out early while weaker shows could potentially make it a long way.
Dominic Morales
What do you mean? The weaker shows are up against heavy hitters straight away to make the eventual match-ups more accurate to public preference. I ranked each show A, B or C depending on how popular/well regarded I thought it was. Aqua Teen is an A and Mongo Wrestling Club is a C. B tier shows go up against each other. There are a couple heavy hitter matchups this round though I don't see any weaker shows running too far into this, I spread the good shit around.
Oliver Powell
Some of these match-ups are close than I expected.
This is a recipe for disaster, but good on you for trying OP
>Space Ghost vs Primal in first round Who did this? It hurts.
The live-action shows could lead to some controversial results. Rooting for Joe Pera as long as I can.
John Jones
It was a fuck up on my part, I wrote down all the shows, put them all into brackets and made the image. Only when making the Google Forms did I realise I was missing Space Ghost. I removed "Newsreaders" and SG was either going to face Eric Andre or Primal for a surprise Round 1 showdown and I chose Primal.
I'm actually glad Primal is winning so far despite how iconic Coast to Coast is.
Lucas White
>was either going to face Eric Andre or Primal >and I chose Primal Think you made the wrong decision. A more autistic user would take this information and complain about you for the whole tournament. I’ve seen it happen. If it stays pretty small I think it’ll be fine though.
All the shows winning with 100% of votes right now make me smile.
Andrew Smith
I think having shows with different target audiences facing off against each other is more interesting. The worse face-off imo is Mr Pickles vs JJ Villards Fairy Tales just because there's no way it will be an accurate result. Both shows have the exact same fans so people voting for Fairy Tales are more likely doing so just to eliminate Mr Pickles.
Camden Allen
Is this the first thread ever if this tournament? How did you decide the seeding?
Ayden Lopez
see There's a couple of insane round 1 match-ups but just have fun and enjoy the OC

Awful Fucking kill your self “X go brrrr” is the worst normie meme in history
Adam Lopez
So you literally just went with your opinion? That’s fucking stupid. It doesn’t matter anyway, because I’m my opinion, seeding is fucking retarded. If something is TRULY the best, it can beat anything. Bracket should be randomized. >b-but we need to cull the field If something is there to only be eliminated, it might as well not be there. Having every beloved show go up against literal whos isn’t fun.
I know a lot of these shows have similar appeal, and you did a good job pairing things against each other, keeping in mind you forgot SGC2C and had to stick it in somewhere. But an AS tourney without Space Ghost just seems wrong. I’m not saying you should change anything, but your argument doesn’t take into account shows that are big but Zig Forums doesn’t really like. Mr Pickles and Fairy Tales might have the same appeal, but the only time anyone ever brings up Mr Pickles is to say it sucks. Same with Robot Chicken to an extant.
I’ve seen it go both ways. Random would be good in an ideal scenario where you know everybody is honest and not going to spite post with shows they haven’t seen. I think seeding makes for more entertaining threads because people championing larger shows are able to stick around in threads longer. You get more interesting banter and fan content (if any) that way.
>don’t tell them Obviously you haven’t been paying attention to the results have you? Heh. How does it feel to watch your tournament go up in flames before it ever really started?
Carter Cruz
I just turned on sign in but I'm not collecting emails. I just hope everyone has a google account.
Aaron Diaz
It wasn't perfect, it definitely needed some more work put in the writing but it was slowly improving. Considering Robot Chicken is 80% lames bits, 15% chuckle worthy, 5% genuinely funny, I'd rather have seen RC get shelved so that Titan could get more focus and grow. I think it was stuck in this middle ground where they wanted something episodic with humor but also wanted the plots and action and just tried to split the difference poorly. Should have committed to plot and developed the setting more and just looked for more natural humor to use rather than taking so much time to set up jokes.
Hey OP I’m hosting this year’s miss Zig Forums later this September and was wondering if there was anything I should know when creating google documents for voting. Thanks In advance

>Space Ghost vs Primal round 1 user I swear to god
Ayden Gray
Today's my first time using Google Forms, it's pretty self-explanatory, do a test one first but you just need image files and to select "multiple choices" for each question. Yes.
