Why no Beach Episode?

... Wasn't the Crimson Wastes basically that? Or the Mermista Seagate episode?

why no good episode?

When the fuck is this supposed to take place?

After they save Angella obviously

so SW is dead, Angella is back and Scorpia's eyes are glowing with magic power

although I guess the artist isn't into Perfuma, so Scorpia is just jealous of Adora

Because beach episodes exist so all the sexy female characters can dress in skimpy swimsuits. There are no sexy female characters in Nu-Ra, none of them even have tits.

hordaks still got body rot tho

Entrapda just prefers the classic look

Based on Catra and Glimmer's hair
Hordak having Imp
Hordak & Entrapta being together
Angela being alive

I'd say season 3

Glimmer doesn't have her new hair.

Not sexualising the characters in a show for childrer?

The horror.

SJWs

She-Ra was for children? I always saw it as a teen show.

Because beach episodes exist to pad weekly shows, help meet deadlines and maintain interest among horny teens until the plot goes back on track.
Netflix employs binge format, short seasons and doesn't produce many episodes to begin with. Therefore, filler isn't critical for their purposes and could actually be an annoyance for viewers who would have to power through more episodes at a time.
In fact, a common complaint about She-Ra is having too few episodes to lay down proper exposition. A lot of things are glossed over and the vast supporting cast is very underdeveloped as a result. Having a dedicated stock episode where fuck-all happens wouldn't help that.

>the "it's for kids" argument

Nigger you know damn well that isn't true.

No, it was for childerer.

this is wrong in every way, nothing wrong with including sexuality in kids shows, its part of life and you shouldn't try to hide it from them

also the show is clearly a romantic teen drama

also the show totally sexualizes its characters, its just subtle, not some tacky ecchi anime

Cause Sexism. Honestly though, wouldn't want to see any of these characters in swimsuits.

It's rated 7+, but it thematically skews a lot older

you can get away with quite a lot if you don't have violence

you're right, i though it was clear that i was refering to the more overt 'beach episode' sexualization the user i was refering to was bitching about.

I actually think the show is a fairly positive example of how to handle sexuality for younger audiences.

>A female character wearing swimsuit is sexualizing

Because then men might accidentally enjoy one episode.

shit OP, OP.

It's some weird American puritanism shit that we non-Americans won't really understand, and shouldn't even try to.

They needed the airtime for silly thing like “plot” and “characters”

>sample dialogue from the more puritan US tv version.

Friendly reminder that Shadow Weaver did nothing wrong since joining the rebellion and now lives rent free in the heads of everyone who continues to think she had some ulterior motives the entire time.

just wait for the movie, she gonna manipulate Glimmer into bringing her back to life instead of freeing Angela

That would be hilarious

The audience for She-Ra doesn't go to beaches or go swimming so neither should the characters.

>The show is a streaming series. Somehow this means it has airtime.
