Nah, I think he really is playing a character when he does his reviews, at least partly. I'm sure he is actually angry to a degree whenever he sees a cartoon he doesn't like but he's playing up the anger for views. However, in his Growing Around pilot commentary video, he gets super mad and I don't see any reason for him to be playing a character in that type of video.

Its the old e-celeb excuse of "I was only pretending to be angry/in character" to deflect criticism. Nobody wants to admit that maybe they were childish and immature at some point in their life. They want their followers to believe they were perfect saints since the day they were born and never did anything wrong.

There are 2 tests actually, each one gives you access to different channels, one I think is basically saying you read the rules, and then there's another where you have to do 50 fucking fill in the blank questions about Growing Around. Fuck that.
