Just how big of an impact did these episodes have? Family Guy was still peaking around this time and a little after, but it feels like there was an entire generation of FG naysayers that all came from having seen this.
Just how big of an impact did these episodes have? Family Guy was still peaking around this time and a little after...
Seth got buttblasted about it
Seth makes more money than Matt and Trey, he won.
HOLY CRAP LOIS IM IN SOUTH PARK
Family Guy had slightly thicker skin than South Park, hence why this is as close to a rebuttal as Mcfarlane gave.

>Family Guy had slightly thicker skin
Doubtful
Opinion respected.
Your doubt doesn't matter, facts do.
The SP guys threw entire interviews just for shitting on Family Guy in their crusade against it to get it cancelled but they never got much of a reaction from Seth, they are seething to this day in their usual gay way.
Seth responds with "Yeah well, YOU GUYS ARE GAY!".
Pathetic.
Seth got more blasted by the simpsons gag about family guy and American dad
I mean to be fair you're on a website where "you're gay" is 99% of peoples arguments
That's a whole lot of presumption there user, and why do you need to white knight for Seth so hard anyway if he doesn't care
That scene was actually cut, probably for the best.
Even if FG had a good joke up their sleeve it probably wouldn't be worth picking a fight with a show that can have an episode ready in less than a week. A back-and-forth with South Park would just be a losing battle.
Nobody here has a primetime cartoon full of union writers working for them who, in a meeting all together, agreed that the best response was "you're gay".
Are they directly saying they hate it presumption?

Is that why Quagmire raped Marge and murdered the Simpsons
Yes. He got that upset by the joke.
Family guy wore out its welcome along time ago.
>it's a crusade to get it canceled
That's the presumption you sperg, don't try and weasel out by autistically focusing on one interview
Kill yourself dumbass, you stole that line from a Youtube comment from that video
Not all their words were bad
>“I think what makes me disappointed about Family Guy is that it really could be an amazing show. You can tell there are smart people working on it […] they need to work harder.”
>Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, called the episode "funny and accurate."
Sounds like a very one-sided "rivalry".
user, how can I do that when the comments are off on the video? How retarded are you?
>You can tell there are smart people working on it […] they need to work harder.”
I'm betting Seth is the road block here, can't have anyone showing him up on his baby after all, also explains why American Dad is so much better than Family Guy
Wasn't there an episode where south park was like, "Yeah, I like family guy. Sure it's not the smartest show and it's kind of silly and absurd but at least it's not up its own ass with messages"?
I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that The Cleveland Show Season 2 and up was pretty much better than almost anything on Family Guy, and Seth only voiced one of the characters for a few seasons. Too bad it'll be remembered as the show in Family Guy's shadow because of the mediocre first season, it's unfairfully unrated that was never given another chance by most.
That was the same episode that also took the piss out of family guy, it shows how much Matt and Trey think about this stuff, they can take the piss out of one show, still recognize why some people like it, and then take the piss out of themselves
I haven't seen this in so long but wasn't Bart Simpson in this? What was the point of that?
>but at least it's not up its own ass with messages"
Damn, was this before that infamous ep where Brian admits to being an atheist and has to remind Meg how awful her life is to prove that there's no God?
Just a cameo, they also had a little rampage through the King of the Hill production office with a big "congratulations on 10 seasons" thing in the background or something like that
They're just respecting people who like Family Guy, but they still think the show itself is terrible.
It was the top comment before COPPA newfag
>Damn, was this before that infamous ep where Brian admits to being an atheist and has to remind Meg how awful her life is to prove that there's no God?
Yes, as a matter of fact I believe it was.
Not 100% sure though.

FG does classic looney tunes better than nuWarner, what does south park have other than being an edgy soap box?
I feel like they doubled down on the gags after south park. it felt like the cutaway gags were just made to transitions into the next scene. But after the south park, it felt like the gags/cutaways were made to deliberatly fill time.
Fun fact: That's Mel Blanc's son as Elmer
and I would've never seen it because I never saw that video until that user posted it.
Two people can come to the same conclusion you stupid ass-pie. Find something more worthwhile to get upset about and do something with your pathetic life.
That video is missing the best one
