First issue of Dawn: Lucifer's Halo. He's a guy fighting to make a living in a post-apocalyptic New York, and during battle one night he sees a mysterious redhead, follows her, sleeps with her, and she sends him on a quest. The art is amazing. The writing can be a bit esoteric at times, but I enjoy it. First step in the quest is to head to the church so he can get to Heaven. There's a line a mile long, so he tries climbing the tower.
