Dragon Prince confirmed cancelled?
Dragon Prince confirmed cancelled?
didn't he leave after season 1 for "not being given enough input"?
TV practice has always been retarded
I think he quit last season
go woke go broke
Yeah, he was working on it until the last season
Oh good he put black lives matter in his name, now I know he's not a racist.
Who?
TDP was never good, so I'm glad it's cancelled.
Get fukt.
well it was never popular thanks to all the white male hating feminist and sjw stuff in it and netflix always makes multi season contracts for new shows
Guy who was in charge of Green Lantern TAS, actually a really great cartoon that CN killed and he was also a writer for TDP, until last season.
The real reason The Last Airbender was good.
Wasn’t that Aaron?
We should ask him to elaborate what he meant, might get more clues, if he's able. Would really suck to find out that TDP is gone.
>using friends as a reference when the last seasons were plain boring
He was usually director or writer for the good episodes. Aaron oversaw the whole writing thing
If it is about TDP is this the first time Volpe's hinted/talked about since leaving? I remember it seemed like he cut ties but that might've been about the drama at the time. Maybe he was actually a bit bitter about working on and being passionate about another show that didn't get to complete it's story.
On the plus side Tucca and Bertie got picked up by someone else maybe TDP can do the same.
I'm frustrated by this show.
In theory its the kind of thing I should like but I just don't.
The promise of Rayllum is the only thing keeping me interested in a new season of only to see a series actually show a relationship play out.
The way I see it is, he’s either talking about TDP and he’s frustrated it won’t go past S3 or he’s talking about a new show he’s working on that he’s been told will only go to S3, which I doubt because it’s too much biting the hand that feeds him before it’s even been announced.
It could be that the reason he left after S3 is because they could see the writing on the wall and he didn’t want to hang around for an eventual cancellation. He’s not got as much skin in the game as Aaron.
>white male hating
>Protagonist is literally a white male
>Who is in love with a white female
>Who reciprocates
>He also gets magic powers
Look, user. I am a hetero cis white male and not in love with a lot of stuff that's going around but let's not start seeing grinning Jews in every shadow.
Gotta be honest I can think of like maybe a dozen TV series total, ever that didn't go downhill after season 3. Waaay too many Netflix/Prime series in particularly just get extended and extended forever until they degenerate into nonsense.
TDP simply wasn't woke enough to sustain itself.
I honestly can't tell what the hell they are getting at with the social commentary
I'm not even 100% sure there is any
I’d be okay with this - better to end on a relatively high note than potentially being ruined as it drags on for another three seasons
American seasons are already too long.
Is that a major trend for TV in general, or Netflix in particular? Netflix's habit of killing shows after 3 seasons has been discussed extensively for years, and shown to be largely caused by how they structure contracts, but I'm not aware of a general trend.
Motherfucker should be glad that they at least give the opportunity to end it and don't get canceled right away with notice.
Honestly, that's one of the few things I like about today cartoons. They actually bother to give you an ending, even if it is a shitty one, at least you have closure
9 x 22 min episodes is not long by anyone’s standards.
UK TV tends to have the shortest seasons from my experience and even if they only get 4-5 episodes, each one is usually an hour long
>Elfs
>White
TDP was one of those shows I never heard people talk about after the seasons dropped. There would be a little talk the days before and after the new season but after that nothing. Its like it had no staying power so I'm not surprised it flopped.
