Two issues, an appearance in Moore's Sandman, I think he was in Animal Man in Limbo, a Vertigo Visions where he got his own thing like The Green, and Guy was reading an issue in Brave & The Bold.

Brother Power is the guy in the back with the white face and too-blushy cheeks.

That's Sunshine Superman, I'm talking about the living puppet in the back. His name is Brother Power, The Geek and for some reason he's clung onto life despite never making a real splash in the DCU.

It's a bit of a wild concept and there's apocryphal tales that it rankled some of DC's more conservative staff, especially Mort Weisinger, and they leaned on Infantino to kill the book so there's a kind of rebel martyrdom to the character.

He has a cool idea, basically a Frankenstein's Monster accidentally made by dumb hippies.

I want DC to make something fun with Brother Power but the keep disappointing me.

Nah, the Prez reboot was mild to moderately left, just far enough that a right leaning reader wouldn't get angry while reading it.
Except for the story in the Catwoman Election Special, that one pisses me off.

It got dropped because it reality was about to get even more insane than a comic, is what I've been saying.

Sort of, it's the way the hippies were depicted, I think.
They're portrayed as dumb but well meaning kids, and I guess Weisinger didn't like they they weren't written as communist insurrectionists.
