fuck off nigger loving esl
Justin Phillips
>protestant
Do Catholics not like the movie?
Thomas Sanchez
They were too busy being raped by priests to watch Disney movies.
Landon Nguyen
You're more likely to be raped by a public schoolteacher than a Catholic priest. And this movie was before Vatican II, when pedo priests started infiltrating the Church.
Blake Miller
Everything before 1998 is racist anymore.
Owen King
It's for tar babies.
Grayson Davis
Keep justifying your gaped asshole with that old, fake statistic, papist.
Adam Perez
>Who do old protestant racists love?
I dunno. Who?
>this cartoon?
It's not a cartoon.
Owen Ortiz
I'm black and I love it
Daniel Foster
Because they were told by the far-left that it's racist.
Brody Torres
The music is great.
Brandon Myers
They don't, a lot of them haven't been exposed to it. They believe it should exist because it upsets blacks, and THEY are upset about blacks, so that pleases them.
Just like the mobs who want to preserve the Civil War generals statues, most of them cannot factually recount any of their famous deeds and battles aside from "fought the negro-lovers".
Dylan Perry
There are more teachers than priests, but take 100 of each, and there are more rapist priests than teachers.
because it's fiction. it justifies their false view of black people, and showcases the fictional 'happy slave' narrative. these people have no real life acomplishments, so they rely on a steady stream of propaganda to feel good about their wasted lives.
Austin Davis
>these people have no real life acomplishments, so they rely on a steady stream of propaganda to feel good about their wasted lives.
Who exactly are we talking about again?
Zachary Howard
OP is a Zig Forums baiting faggot. If you want to actually read some decent discussion about Song of the South, here
Gavin Carter
I'd rather not participate in a Funland thread, pedos make me agitated.
Jose King
Does anyone really love this film, and has also actually watched it?
It strikes me as the kinda thing that contrarian hipsters learn about as some piece of semi-obscure trivia, and then pretend to have seen and know about it and for whatever reason fiercely defend it whenever it comes up. But anyone who actually bothers to watch it learns that it’s actually pretty outdated and boring, and that most of its appeal lies in it holding a little historical significance. It’s just like Kimba the White Lion. It’s okay but it’s really not that good.
Luis Evans
Me and my friends like it but only because its astonishing how racist it is and how Disney ever thought this would fly back when it came out. They deny it now, but even when it came out it would have been seen as racist, and that level of obliviousness is hilarious to us. We enjoy it on a similar level as Blazing Saddles and Stephen from Django.
Ayden Sanchez
Because the fanart is pretty good.
Carson Edwards
>Vatican II, when pedo priests started infiltrating the Church.
Fucking kek
You actually believe this? My grandpa grew up on a time where they’d make fun of you for being gullible enough to get molested by father fuckyfucky. Everybody winked and nodded or turned a blind eye to it.
Austin Perez
Isn’t this movie lost? How are people watching it?
Elijah Brooks
It preserved a treasury of African American folklore but used a very unpleasant framing device
Liam Collins
No? Disney doesn't release it any more, but there are plenty of copies circulating.

There's also a really nice 35mm restoration someone has done somewhere.
Jonathan Brown
As a Catholic I think specifically linking Song of the South with "protestants" is pointless and I never would've made that connection, but racial constructs in America were mostly engineered by WASPs and Catholic ethnic minorities (Irish, Italians) were seen as minorities but less so than black people.
>This dumb meme still generates all these replies after all these years
Come up with new jokes. Maybe one about how my priest uncle could rape my sister and the resulting offspring would probably still be less inbred than the average Englander.

I grew up with a bootleg DVD my father purchased back in the early 2000s. To me, it was just another part of our Disney movie collection that I liked to watch (definitely not my favorite, but it was up there). The only parts I really liked were the Uncle Remus scenes and the animation segments, I could really give a shit less about the little boy and his family issues.
Oliver Morgan
That's where you're wrong, OP. Nobody likes this "cartoon," people just pretend to because "fuck niggers"
Cooper Richardson
I only liked the animated parts and the only memorable character was Uncle Remus. Everything else is completely mediocre
Evan Harris
It was released overseas. That is how I got my copy. Classic song which won a Oscar for. People need to watch it before they complain about it.
Parker Phillips
People just like the song, OP. Nothing else from it is really important.
