Like, are you strong enough to destroy a planet in under 10 seconds with very little effort? Good, that means you are as strong as the guys that were so weak as to be irrelevant to Freiza, the guy who was so weak as to be irrelevant to a Supersaiyan, who was so weak as to be irrelevant to even one Android.
See the problem here? There are just so many jumps in power, and to such a large degree, that unless you are solar-system-buster at minimum the only thing you get for showing up to fight them is a participation trophy.

No, power doesn't scale that liberally in dbz. Being a planet buster is a big deal to them. Vegeta couldn't lift magenta in base form. Cell claimed that his full power blast would be able to wipe out the solar system. That's about the biggest. Buu was stronger and we just got a time lapse of him exploding planet by planet, and destroying himself each time. They are planet busters in energy production but only like extremis iron man level physically. Not anything to sneeze at but nothing that thor or supes couldn't put down casually.
