Season 2 is here. What did you all think, how was it compared to first season. Did any of the reveals surprise you? Do you feel bad for Hugo?
What was your favorite song. Mine was this.

>Do you feel bad for Hugo?
No.
I was.... Disappointed? Coming after the high of the She-ra series finale, this just fell flat. The "we are your anchor" ending in particular felt unearned.
I was disappointed in Hugo but I figured that was the point. The delivery itself was satisfying. The "we are your anchor" thing seemed obvious and I had no particularly strong feelings towards it
But the She-Ra finale fell flat for me so perhaps it's just tastes
would I like this show if I have a TF fetish?
It may vary so, i dunno, maybe yes but maybe not.
For me it was Kipo had all the action but none of the emotion while She-ra had all the emotion but none of the action.
I liked She-Ra's finale more but that was also 5 seasons of development culmination. Unless kipo really pulls a Voltron or something I can see its series finale topping She-Ra.
I would love to, but I can't see it. I mean, I definitely like the animation, and you're right about the action, but....
At the end of season 2&3, She-ra had put a lot of time in its characters. Not just Catra, but Hordak, Scorpia, Entrapta, all went through clear evolutions. And those are just the villains.
Kipo has a smaller cast. So you would think that you spend more time on the characters themselves. Which we do, but the time spend isn't very substantive. And that's maybe why I felt the "we are your anchor" bit was unearned, because there's still not a whole lot of substance to these characters.
>not a whole lot of substance
Yeah I don't know about that one chief
I haven't seen She-Ra yet so I can't compare but this season made me feel emotional
Hugo's abandonment hit hard and then his lack of understanding was heartbreaking (Kipo and Hugo bonding was fucking perfect imo)
I felt for Kipo when she found out her mom was mega monkee and it was nice seeing Wolf being more open with her feelings
The characters are fantastic imo
rip the 3 frogs who died
They died how they lived
That and the scorpion killing itself were nicely brutal.
best part was the implication the other scorpions were gonna eat it

Man this was so cool it almost makes you forget that somehow her clothes are fine whenever she changes back.
fucking pussies show me a naked 13 year old damn it
i'm always mad when shows don't hesitate to kill animals/non-human characters while they would never kill a human
The gold dipped frogs surprised me. Very Brutal. A different surprise but I though Cappuccino would be cuter than a shrimp but her tattoos were cool.
I feel bad for Hugo I'm looking forward to see where it goes with him. It'll probably be a redemption but I'm hoping for a bitter sweet end where he sacrifices himself.
I thought the otter sounded really familiar and placed bets on it being Max Mittelman but its a guy with like 10 roles none of them in stuff I had seen.
One day. Maybe S3. GIVE US EQUAL RIGHTS!
I don't lnow they set up Emilia to be a lot more evil then Hugo, assuming season 3 doesn't give her a Wolf like background, and I can see her ending the series falling off something or maybe eatin by a pack of somethings like Scar.
I want to kill all filthy muties with Dr Emilia!
>Hugo's abandonment hit hard
Boy, you will cry an ocean if you ever watch She-ra
Well excuse me, if wanting to save humanity from hiding like vermin is evil then call me the evilest bitch there is!
>The gold dipped frogs surprised me
You shouldn't. Non-humans are cannon fodder for the censors.
I really liked the French rap when they fought the frogs but can't find it anywhere.
It is when instead of sharing the world you would rather basically kill everyone so humans are the one and only intelligent species again.
La Vague: Phases Cachees
Merci!
>La Vague: Phases Cachees
Dope sauce user. Thanks a lot. Didn't think to check spotify since I never use it. Don't know why they don't have it in the official sound track on youtube.
>how was it compared to first season
1. Benson feels even more redundant than ever - Wolf could fill his shoes in most of his plot points presented in this season
2. Far less Kipo/Wolf fuel...
3. Overall OK, but I hope they finish it in S3. Good thinks come is small packages.
> Do you feel bad for Hugo?
No, he went apeshit waaaay too quickly upon meeting Kipo's dad after the escape. Fuck him.
>What was your favorite song
Definitely Down with Humans. Also, I love how unlike in some Disney shit, songs here actually don't feel awkward and tacked on just for the sake of having a song
They only have the originals, they also use a lot of already existing music for background music as well.
Why is kipo a furfag?
Honestly I saw the "we're your anchor" thing coming since they first brought up the anchor, just seemed like an obvious cliche.
Kipo is probably the single best character. The rest are pretty one-dimensional.
There were a few good oh shit moments, but when it comes to individual growth it goes as expected.
> Coming after the high of the She-ra series finale
Can someone spoonfeed me please? I stopped watching after few episodes of S1. Did cheetah villain grill got She-ra?
>It's a She-Ra shill
Fucking waste
She-Ra is pretty good though, Mega Super Devil has said it is so, who are you to disagree.
Kipo was solid for two seasons now, it's well above and beyond She-ra to me.
I hope they do something more interesting than focusing on the humans for a third season
My Lord Satan has graced us with his presence, bow down so that you may be worthy peasants
Sooo, where did they get the jaguar DNA from? Did they just have some frozen jaguar goo in a tube somewhere? Did they get it off a mute on the surface? I mean, there probably wouldn't be wild jaguars in whatever city whose ruins they're living in.
In any event it would have had to have come from a living jaguar originally. So does Kipo have a third "parent" out there somewhere?
If I were to guess maybe focus on Wolf and how she and Emilia are somewhat the same
