They might not even talk. They might make grunts and shit. They stated they were going for the style of the old Mickey Mouse cartoons, which had Mickey silent.

To be fair, they did dodge the question about whether it's silent or voiced when they first talked about it. But the games and the books have dialogue, including the cup brothers (plus King Dice and the Four Mels have full songs with lyrics), so the only way I could see the show avoiding that is with the captions trick that black-and-white silent films used.

Hard to describe exactly, but I always imagined that Cuphead would sound hammy and confident, Mugman would sound younger and more innocent, and Ms. Chalice somewhere in-between. None of them would sound like Mickey/Minnie Mouse. Also, they better not fucking have a southern accent.
