I seriously got depressed after rewatching AtLA recently. I haven’t seen anything else quite like it, especially not in western cartoons. I think Venture Bros gives me a similar feeling. If you haven’t seen that already, I’d highly recommend it.

FMA 2003 is good too. I personally like it better then Brotherhood but that's my problem.

AOT is guilty pleasure and MHA is trash like avatar, the rest of that list is amazing

The first few episodes are pretty rocky but it improves dramatically. Seasons 3, 4, and 5 are especially great

I'd say Wakfu actually reaches higher highs than Avatar, in the finales of Season 1&2. Not even Sozin's Comet had me this emotionally invested.
