What is this?

Normally this art style repulses me but I find this oddly cute.

Cédric

Does she take off her clothes like the blonde girl does?

An old french comic where the protagonist's love interest is a chinese immigrant, although that doesn't play any actual role except giving her a racist accent that they thought was funny at the time.

Theres one early strip where he walks in on her wearing a nightie.

You got that strip on 'ya big buddy?

What blonde girl?

The hoe from Petite Spirou, which has the same art style as this comic.

Asian girls are cute

IIT: betas
Inb4: REEEE ROASTIE!!!

not the same comic at all.

Does that go somewhere or it is one of those french comics where nothing really happens?

He's been kissed several times. Appart from that, not much.

nothing happens.

Have any of the more recent ones been translated?
I see that volume 6 has been, anything after that?

I read this comic as a kid, and I have an Asian wife right now.
I try to tell myself that this isn't propaganda and that media doesn't have a big influence on kids.
Yet here we are.

I saw few episodes of the show, had no idea it was based on a comic.

>La calartura

Honestly the series seems like it doesn't really have much continuity?
In one 'chapter' or whatever, the kid starts studying properly (due to blackmail, but still) and then in a later chapter it says he doesn't do that.
Seems much like those disney comics, there's a base setting, something happens and then it resets for the next one.

Her name's Chen Liaoping

Does she ever lose her accent?

What makes an accent racist?

>Guile and Chun Li

Now i think about it, France has a thing for yellow. So if brown is chocolate, what is yellow?
Lemon?
Bananas?

The power of lolis and shotas

>Foreigner with a foreign accent is racist

This is your brain on leftardation

From what I've read it seems to come and go when things are stressful for her?

Well, I also read lots of comics with kids having girlfriends and here I am without one. You just got lucky!

France were weebs before weebs. Japan also loves France back and Japanese tourists often get in denial when they visit Paris and the idealized image they had crashes with reality.

If you can understand Garfield continuity you can understand Cedric continuity

Yeah, they got rid of it because she didn't have it in the cartoon (it had been obviously removed due to the whole racist thing). Once in a while they allude to her having lost it because she learned to speak better french over time.

Probably lemons because if you wanna insult an asian person in french you'll call them lemon faces.
