That's literally the only way for modern cartoons to do fluid hand drawn-esque animation as Looney Tunes showed. These really aren't more expensive endeavors as you would think, where they do fluid stuff or actual hand drawn stuff but save money with tweening so it evens out. This is the best we can get and it sucks ass.

You don't honestly expect them to draw each frame individually for an entire animated series, do you? They did that for the game and it took them, like, 4 years. Same with that Green Eggs and Ham show, has some of the best animation I've seen in years from a Netflix production and it too took a long time to produce.
