>Millenials are now nostalgic for the Wild Thornberrys, blissfully unaware that it was Incredibly boring, had an ugly artstyle and is only remembered today because of Nigel Thornberry memes

What went wrong? Why do Millenials have shit taste?

prune

go watch Steven Universe fag

I prefer Good Cartoons

Debbie was extremely underrated and was rightfully upset her dad took her around the world instead of a proper education

Eliza was a little shit who I never liked

>Blissfully unaware of my opinion
Fuck off

I actually, unironically LIKE The Wild Thornberrys when it was on.

>eliza getting to see her elephant friend one last time before she died
>boring
>eliza being betrayed by a cheetah family starving during a drought
>boring
>eliza lost in the possibly haunted forest
>boring
>eliza and her sister making a mad dash to some film awards so people don't see their baby pictures
>boring

those are just off the top of my head. now take your shit ass opinions back to the coomer korra threads or some shit.|

I actually feel genuinely bad for Debbie looking back now. She wasn't allowed to go to school, or have normal friends. She was usually just stuck hanging out in an RV in the middle of nowhere. Sight seeing is cool and all, but for years on end with no say in the matter? Just let her live with the grandparents.

If this was just nostalgia it qouldnt have gotten a fucking rugrats crossover movie at the time, nostalgia implies it was only considered good in retrospect but it was clearly considered good in the moment too.

>betrayed by a cheetah family starving during a drought
It was actually pretty ballsy of a kid's show to acknowledge that interfering with starving wild animals on a whim doesn't turn out well.

Fuck off. Klasky Csupo was and is based. Wild Thornberries have always been in ‘good’ territory.

>blissfully unaware that this is a fucking copypasta

I liked it. I watched it everyday before going to school and it was good.

Debbie could have made a ton of international friends and gotten something out of all her travel. She's just too stuck up for the realization.

I don't know, how many long-term friends are you really going to make by staying in a foreign place for a day or two before moving on?

A lot of Klasky Csupo cartoons were popular so I don't think the artstyle was a problem

the thornberryes were just plain boring

>Millennials
Holy shit an actual boomer. Go back to Rubik: The Amazing Cube, old man.

It's a zoomer you fucking retard.

I was genuinely surprised at how truly ugly this show's artstyle is when I tried rewatching it. It's not even appealingly funny-ugly, like some others are. It just plain looks bad.

Still enjoy the Nigel Thornberry memes, tho.

I prefer Hanna-Barbera

You wish, imagine growing up after the 1990s.

>made a ton of international friends
She did. But she never stuck around long enough for friends to matter. I remember she asked a African tribe girl where she got a dash and ended up having to prove her womanhood in an archery contest.
>gotten something out of all her travel
That she did. I remember when she did a college interview, on the surface looked like she was bombing. But she ends up impressing the interviewer by all the knowledge she knows about animals, other countries, culture, ect. That to her is common knowledge but to kids in the US probably only read about in books

I liked it because I like animals and wild locations.

Klasky Csupo’s ugliness helped the atmosphere of the cartoons. It helped the dirty warped perspective of babies in Rugrats, the edge of Rocket Power and the jungles of Wild Thornberries. The only cartoon that it worked against was As Told by Ginger.

>I prefer Hanna-Barbera
How does it feel to be absolutely dominated by the theatrical toons that came before you and the renaissance that came after you in the 90’s? Sure, you’re one step above Filmation, but that’s not that impressive.

>people keep replying to this copy pasta

Unironically more fun than talking about zoomertoons. I miss being the boogieman.

true that

Retard, Hanna-Barbera saved TV animation, they gave us masterpieces like Scooby-Dip and Flintstomes that influenced future cartoons and were high-quality for their time. Shows like Simpsons wouldn't exist without Flintstones.

Not to mention that HB were really solis expect during the 70s, the 90s gave us even more masterpieces like Swat Kats, What a Cartoon, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo and the Powerpuff Girls.

HB was amazing, only are dumbass like you would look at the negative aspects without thinking of their legacy.

worst copypasta 2020

Yeah we should all go reply to twitter screencaps and Zig Forums bait instead of talking about cartoons.

>Muh Hooneymooners clone and one decent cartoon they cloned 7000 times (that peaked in the 90’s)
OK Boomer.

>the 90s gave us even more masterpieces like Swat Kats, What a Cartoon, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo and the Powerpuff Girls.
Not the same Hanna Barbera, that falls firmly on Millennial clay.

I never watched this show, I'm only nostalgic for pic related

Same Company retard, you say they are bad despite giving us quality cartoons.

>same company
Different creatives. You don’t get ownership over that generation. Go fuck Yogi.
