The writers would have to take some real risks with the character to do that. Huey is the main character and head complainer of the show and very frequently steers the plot or adds perspective. Making him happy changes him hugely. Just like making Riley thoughtful changes him and the vibe completely. The Boondocks (if it's even still going,) needs to decide whether it wants to be a comedy or a moral lesson. It is great when it does one or the other. It gets clumsy when it tries to do both during the same sequence.

The failure to understand black voting patterns and the meme of "we can win the black vote" comes down to people failing basic geography lessons. Ask yourselves- if blacks are 90% of the caucuses of the Democratic party in the Southern states and 60ish~ percent of blacks live in the South, why would a significant number ever choose to split their vote when Southern whites are united into the Republican party? Ultimately the Republicans would do better for themselves by simply trying to win back the Republican whites in coastal states that drifted away after the end of the cold war instead of fruitlessly seeking to win black votes they won't win, because even if everything sucks ass and you live in the fucking ghetto most people are retarded and will prefer to vote for "their party" than admit shit is fucked. Kind of like how countries like Belgium have ethnic party line voting that causes frequent gridlock. The South is Belgium, the major cities of the North are like Brussels surrounded by Flemish Brabant. Expecting them to see eye to eye is imposing nonsensical postmodernisms in which their differences don't exist purely for want that those differences wouldn't exist merely because admitting that there is a clear-cut ethnic/national/racial divide between the white and black populations is uncomfortable for limpdick retards.
