Yes. Even within the universe of the comic itself Amber managed to develop a severe mental disorder in less than 2 months. That's a horrifyingly rapid decline from "normal with a not quite healthy coping mechanism" to "dissociating so hard that memory gaps occur." Plus given how Amber/Amazi-Girl actually interact, Amazi-Girl is pretty clearly a persona/imaginary friend that Amber adopts/talks to as a form of coping mechanism for her severe avoidance of actually facing her problems. As such if we assume that Amber isn't actually psychotic, she's still showing clear signs of major neuroses and personality disorders. No matter how you cut it, she needs psychological intervention.
