Luanne has started playing video games on twitch and is surprisingly good at it, despite not realizing she could be monetizing herself while doing so.
When an E-sports event is being held in Houston, Peggy and Bobby encourage Luanne to participate for the chance of winning a spot on the US championship team and a large cash prize.
Hank absolutely abhors the idea of video games being a sport, but agrees to take Luanne regardless as he agrees that she could use the money. After arriving it turns out that Hank, unexpectedly, is actually rather good at video games (a throwback to Grand Theft Arlen) and a match for Luanne in terms of natural skill. Despite it being her opportunity to shine, Hank is pressured/coaxed into participating himself and the two end up at each others throats virtually.
In the end, Hank realizes he's being competitive over something he has no interest in and takes a fall in the game. Luanne is declared the winner, but she objects to taking the prize and the job because she didn't win them fairly due to Hank giving her the win, and furthermore because she never wanted her hobby to become her job, that was all Peggy and Bobby's idea. So the prize and job goes to the third place finalist instead.
Meanwhile Peggy and Bobby have had a side plot with some stand-up comedian that Bobby looks up to who turns out to be a complete asshole, and Peggy exposing him as an adulterer after he hits on her despite being married. Before they leave, the third place finalist (who was initially established as a bit of a dick) gives Hank and Luanne the trophy he won after they both forfeited, telling them that they should keep it as a memory.

Hank and friends attempt to make social media profiles, Hank posts or supports something offensive through a misunderstanding and now a bunch of random users(and Bill who's in it for clout) are trying to get him fired
ok how about Bobby starts crossdressing because he saw a crossdresser on TV so Hank tries to get him to stop by spanking him but he accidentally wets himself during this so Hank fucks him anally as punishment?

bobby becomes a twitch streamer and people love him because hes actually both hilarious and really good at the games. but sometimes luanne shows up on camera and gives em a wave and people fall for her and her big ol titties and start asking to see her more and more. eventually she makes her own channel and rivals bobby by getting WAY more attention than him. but she sucks at the games and isnt even having fun playing them. she just likes the attention, not realising shes only getting it because her tits are on camera.

Bill is hanging out in the alley and drinking beer by himself at 3:30 in the afternoon when Bobby gets home from school. He's lonely and asks Bobby to hang out with him. Bobby starts browsing the internet on his phone and laughs at a wojak meme (pic related).

"Ohhhh, I know that feel"
Later that day night Bill browses feels images and starts getting into the more radically right wing side of the culture. Pretty soon he's turning every conversation in the alley into shockingly crude criticisms of women, and making claims so right wing that the other guys are shocked. Bill finally goes too far when he calls Peggy a roastie, and Hank demands he go home.
Somehow Bill realizes that his beliefs are toxic and by the end of the episode things are back to normal.
B Plot: Peggy buys a coupon book for $5 to support Tom Landry Middle School or something, and runs into problems attempting to use the coupons. Hilarity ensues.
honestly i cant see smartphones with internet, image boards and memes being present in the show. even if they did technically exist at the time, what with the show being set in the early 2000s, it just doesnt fit the feel of the show. i love the 90-2000s feel of it and if i were to reboot it id go with having it STILL set in that era and talk about that era's events, just with a nice flavorful spoonfull of 2020 hindsight. or if youre gonna set it in modern day, maybe also age up the characters and do something with bobby and the kids being teens

B plot: Hank feuds with the hospital administration after being refused validation for his parking.

also back in that volunteer firemen episode i 100% knew they were going to do the "everyone in boomhaur's mind speaks weird like him, except him, who speaks normally". but i kinda figured itd be more interesting if he spoke normally, while everyone else spoke super slowly and in incomplete sentences and have en enunciate TOO MUCH like retards
