Catra?
More like Fatra
Everyone in the comments read like schizos lmao
This video proves once again literally the only reason you talk about this show is the lesbian incest ship. No one likes this show for the show and it'll never get a sequel or movie or anything
>Fatra
>Pushing false narrative
same tricks, never learn.
When did artists stop making good fanart and just start reskinning memes?
Objection, leading and argumentative.
They never stopped making good art, they just reskin memes now on the side.
It's the equivalent of Phineas and Ferb fucking
idk they're fun
Year zero of human artistic history.
Agreed
Reminder that Catra's mental instability was never treated and will lead to a tragic end
That's what makes it interesting.
>Catradora
God I hate that name. Couldn't have come up with anything else better?
From the geniuses that produced the name Castaspella? That's entirely on brand.
Castaspella was come up with by a toy company in the 80s alongside a pantheon of terribly named MotU toys.
Catradora was come up with as the ship name for the new show by the fans.
Catra was an 80s original, as was Adora. The blending naming convention of CatrAdora, is the same that brought us Korrasami, Sculder, Sheith, KatPee/PeeNiss, etc.
Also, the first CatrAdora fic with that name on Ao3 was from 2011.
KatPee/Peeniss are always hilarious examples, tbf the fandom uses Everlark.
Catradora is fine, I've heard worse. There aren't many possible combinations.
sure, but combining character names for ships is a more modern phenomenon.
and it was still fans in 2011 that came up with the name, rather than Mattel in the 80s did for Casta.
>Also, the first CatrAdora fic with that name on Ao3 was from 2011.
Why do you know this?
>sure, but combining character names for ships is a more modern phenomenon
Sculder, Mulder/Scully, is not a 'more modern' thing. X-Files is almost 30 years old. You can argue that 'Bennifer' , Ben Affleck/Jennifer Lopez popularized it, even if, again, there were plenty of examples before them, but even that thing is almost 2 decades old.
And, to be fair, that is a really good question how I know that.
Exactly. Catradora is a completely inoffensive, 5/10, bog-standard ship name. It’s no more or less egregious than something like Zutara.
They could go the Invader Zim route, but I've never seen that ship naming convention used outside the IZ fandom.
But, the name doesn't net other things when you search for content of it, just like Entrapdak, so that's a plus.
I've only heard Sculder relativly recently though, I'd always hard it reffered to as just 'Mulder & Scully' before shiping became such a big thing.
>before shipping became such a big thing
Son, people were shipping before there was an internet. The earliest AOL discussion boards were about Kirk /Spock. That's literally where the term Slash fiction came from.
