DC hates Poison Ivy. There's no going around it, and i somewhat understand why. She's an evil seductress who uses her sexuality as a way to trap and kill anyone who stays in her path. A classic femme fatale, something that feminists downright despise. DC tried to make her more appealing to them by turning her into Harley's tragic kinda heroic half-plant passive hippie lesbfu, but the image of Ivy as a villainous seductress is already deeply ingrained on the general audience's memory, so they're just giving up on her. I can tell DC can't wait to drag her to D-list status and worf her to some shitty new villain like they did to Magpie.
Either that or i might be looking too deeply into this.
Regardless, this is the worst incarnation of Ivy in current DC media, including HiC Ivy, and anyone who says otherwise is either dumb or a casual. Even Uma Thurman and that girl from Gotham are better than this trash.
Won't be surprised if she continues to puss all the way till Harley obviously crashes the wedding and Kite Man will get Ivy the needed confidence boost to accept and follow her (he'll probably get the picture by then).
