This and Coraline are my top two.
Does The Sandman count? It's a short stop motion film that catches you completely off guard

Fantastic Mr. Fox
I like quite a few Aardman works, see recent thread: Otherwise I did like Corpse Bride.

It’s a shame Kubo bombed I was literally the only person in my movie theater for this movie when it came out. Everybody went to see trolls instead of the actually good movie
Kubo was great, definitely my favorite Laika film
the other movie the studio made bombed even harder
I never noticed it was co-produced by Laika, even some of the secondary characters have some Laika looks
comfy movie
Difference is that Yeti film deserved to flop
i always wondered what the japanese animators who spent months posing all those puppets for rankin bass for any given production thought about the weird shit they made
laika did will vinton dirty
I liked it more the second time I watched it.

I don't give a fuck if it's a kids film, fuck off.
what???
Missing Link deserved better
I still can't wrap my head around the amount of man hours that would be needed for some of these movies.
Literally what the fuck are you on about?
salty b8 m8
Mary and max.
I thought it was Laika’s weakest, honestly
Anomalisa.
Nightmare. I watched it last Christmas for the first time in years and it's practically perfect
Jurassic Park
Ending ruins the film by literally going against the established morals it was trying to convey earlier in the film.
>Kubo your grandfather is trying to forcefully change your perspective on life to shit his desires and you must stop him
>oh hey Kubo you're indoctrinating your grandfather to believe in your perspective of life? That's cool, totally not what your grandpa was trying to do to you.
Same. I had heard that it was better than Coraline, so my expectations were too high. On second viewing, now aware of what to really expect, I had a much better time with it.
