How long was this a thing for?

I stayed there three nights because it was relatively cheap, yes it was. There was little maintenance, it wasn't close enough to any attractions tourist really wanted to see, and when I stayed there the wallpaper was literally peeling off to bad I fucking murdered Sokka by leaning against the wall too long. I wanted to play the PS2 but, and no joke, there was god damn semen in the controller so my dad claimed it all day so I couldn't play it.

That's what you notice, and not the fact that they had Hey Arnold/Rocket Power/MLATR/Rocko stuff until they closed in 2016?

>there was god damn semen in the controller
You can't say this shit and then not give us a story.

I suspect that's why he's asking how long it was a thing for.

How were you old enough to know what semen was but young enough for your parents to take you to fucking nick resorts?

A few days ago we had an user lie about losing his virginity to a MILF at this place, you're really thinking Zig Forums is well-adjusted?

The wallpaper was actually massive decals towards the end, from what I've heard. Also gross.

said user seemed to deliver pics tho

It's been a while since I listened to the interview, but the people in charge were basically holding the place together with duct tape by the end, because Nick had abandoned the concept. From what I gathered, it was a massive mistake to have the rooms be motel-style because it basically ensured all of the rooms would grow mold because everyone would come in directly from the waterpark.

Link?

That green stuff is mostly feces.

What's with faggots and making up "le dark" stories about this place
It was just a shitty hotel with some nick logos added

>He doesn't know how the hotel didn't bother to research common food allergies before they made the slime

What game do you think the previous guest came to

I went as a kid and got real genuine Nickelodeon slime thrown on me by a castmember when they were shooting something for the channel.

Childhood defining moment. sincerely.

Didn't the hotel only offer like five games?

>real genuine Nickelodeon slime
what differentiates that from fake slime?

The resort was full to the brim with green water that they would basically throw everywhere constantly, compared to the real slime which I can only assume is the same formula they would use for something like Kids Choice Awards

They used a different kind of slime at the Nick Hotel because the real slime would fuck up pool filters. They used the real slime (which gave a lot of guests allergic reactions) only for poolside events where it wouldn't drain into the pool. It was pretty much the first time the slime they used on the TV show was used on a large amount of people, which explains why they didn't realize how bad it could be before then.

it killed a child with Dora's thighs. RIP

What is the slime made of?

I don't know, I just remember hearing about the horrors of the Little Bill costumes and the infamous All Grown Up! room.

There's a hotel near Six Flags St. Louis with a motel format facing a center pool courtyard. All the rooms have a big fat dehumidifier in them, though IIRC.

Yeah, I don't think they thought it through. In general you want a hotel-style resort if you have a waterpark because at worst you just have to replace carpet or furniture in common areas, not every single room.

Well it probably can't be worse than the CN hotel.

Asbestos

Is that Jellystone? I've lived in the STL area my whole life and never heard of a place like that.

Isn't this the place in Amish country like 45 minutes away from Hersheypark?

For some reason I thought the Nick Hotel launched back in the 90's cuz that's when I remembered them being in Orlando, and I was surprised to think it lasted much longer than it really did.

I didn't until now.
Who the hell makes a resort in Pennsylvania? This is just sad.

When it launched in 2005 or so, it was already out of date. It had a "Nick at Nite" bar when it opened.
It gets even worse when you actually take a look at it.

I don't know why CN thought this was a good idea, especially when they already had brand deals with actual resorts in places people want to go to, not a $200 a night motel (rooms open up to the outside) 45 minutes away from Hersheypark.

I looked up Jellystone and it didn't seem to match, but I found the hotel (I couldn't remember the name since it's been years).

It's the Holiday Inn next to Six Flags in Eureka

>That Cartoon Network Resort
You know what I just thought of for that place, an Adult's Lounge/Bar/Comedy Club based off Adult Swim, I mean that seems fair to the adults right?

Holy fuck, I remember hearing about this place. IIRC it was the "Dirtiest Hotel in America" for like three years straight. It beat out no tell motels in fucking Times Square.

>it killed a child with Dora's thighs
You can't just say that without giving any details, user.

Sorry, the Day's Inn in Eureka was the dirtiest. Not surprising given how shitty Eureka is.

it happened 1 or 2 years ago at the new(er) Nick Hotel in Punta Cana. google it, bro. plenty of news articles about it.

I went when the hotel was still new in 2006, and it was fuckin' great.... but DefuntLand's video obviously shows that wasn't the case by the early/mid 2010s.
