Why is this episode so hated? Was it too realistic and hit too close to home?

It's just tvtropes autists crying.

I can see this episode driving some kids to suicide

it was too meanspirited

which would be a valid criticism if it was in any other show, not this one where timmy's parents constantly ignore, abuse or otherwise treat him like shit and talk about how much he sucks and how better their life would be without em

learn to tell when something is appropriate and when its not

Everyone's lives is literally much much better when Timmy doesn't exist.

Mr. Enter cocksucker detected.

The takeaway of the episode is that you should do good deeds because they're the right thing to do, not for praise. I don't think anyone is supposed to take the "no Timmy" timeline seriously, especially since some of the aspects of life improved are not even related to Timmy (the bald friend with hair and other things)

>realistic
Yeah it's totally realistic that somehow everything is Timmy's fault

>meanspirited
Why do you love this word so much. Kys sensitive faggot.

son, when youre reading something, you usually start the next line after you finished the first. not be honest with me, did you just read the first one and your jhonsons got activated too hard to keep going? or do you just have some kinda reading comprehension related disorder. its ok, im here to help not judge

Because you expect someone who cares for Timmy like Tootie to show up and BTFO Jorgen's autistic scheme but instead the writers go the easy route and have Timmy win via a trick of procedure.

i've never seen it's a wonderful life, how does this episode compare to that movie?

Hi John.

Wow apparently only Enter and his fans are allowed to say that a cartoon can be too mean spirited.

Because there’s literally no benefit to Timmy living. Everyone’s life is better if he doesn’t exist.

Mean spirited works, but you have to remember the topic and audience. This entire episode shows Timmy shouldn’t exist. It’s not even funny just sad.

I unironically don't know why, beavis and butthead had an episode exactly like this and its one of the best

true
for how much they hate enter it sure is nice of em to let him crash in their brain rent free

also
>too mean spirited
I didnt even say that. i said it was mean spirited, but so is the rest of the show so I dont know why THIS is the line for so many people. I swear no one on here can read

youve never turned on a tv around christmas?

The moral was clumsily handled. Timmy felt unappreciated and ends up finding out people would be better off if he never existed. It doesn't help that the end has him asking Jorgon to help him commit magical suicide.

none of the children's cartoon channels i watched as a kid ever played it no, and as an adult all the shows i watch i get from the high seas so i don't use tv.
is "it's a wishful life" a good parody of "it's a wonderful life" yes or no?

Why didn't Timmy just wish his parents were better parents?

Because he’s a kid and he thinks more about himself than others

This. It might of been better if Timmy started off being a fuckin asshole. Then getting his ego handed to him. Then Jorgon admitting the alternate reality is fake, and that the lesson is don’t be a jerk. But nothing about Timmy’s suffering was just. It’s even worse because Timmy was just trying to help out.

If he had better parents, he wouldn't have fairy god slaves with infinite free wishes.
You gotta play the long con.

This, it's a one note joke that isn't funny, like most of FOP.

Okay Enter.

honestly ignoring whether or not it's too "mean", it's just not a very funny episode, it's just not a good usage of the "It's A Wonderful Life" trope at all

it did at least give us some good fodder for the long list of girl versions of Timmy though

Would Enter have brown hands?

I like the girl timmy versions where shes still wearing that dumb pink hat, or the casual jean skirt n pink tshirt. I don't see why shes suddenly put on a super fancy dress and hair bow n lipstick. doesnt seem like timmy at all

why are you trying to prove anything to this retard bro? you're enter, I'm enter, he's enter, she's enter... just let him have it

that's kinda the point, Timmy got turned into Timantha because of Wanda exploiting a loophole in how the mechanics of granting wishes are, thus she probably intentionally made Timantha as girly as possible specifically to get back at Timmy for him laughing at her

I've heard they had to apologize for this episode because it was so badly received. Is that true?
