Let’s refrain from the usual garbage the Lanterns are associated with, yeah?

Green Lantern Corp
I’m really loving Morrison’s run, he’s bringing Hal back to his Ore-Johns personality and it’s honestly just a very fun romp
Morrison’s run has been pretty fucking baller so far.
Never was a big Green Lantern fan. My favorite run was the Green Lantern/Green Arrow "Search for America" arc because Adams art and because Hal Jordan always had the personality of a mop and Green Arrow actually made it interesting.
Man, I miss Denny O'Neil.
>Favorite runs, arcs, and annuals?
The one where Hal waffle-stomps Ben 10.
>Favorite green lanterns corp members?
Hal and Gwen.
>Favorite non-green lantern members and corps?
Non-gay, non-Earth2abomination Alan Scott.
>Favorite supporting characters?
Kevin "Lil' Lobo" Levin.
>Favorite villains?
Ben 10 and the Shark.
>Thought’s on Grant Morrison’s recent Green Lantern run?
Trippy art & awesome scripts. 9 out of 10 power batteries.
I think Jess was a cool addition, and I want Carol Ferris to come back

>Thought’s on Grant Morrison’s recent Green Lantern run?
It's Morrison being Morrison so I think it's over-complicated and good.
But it's just him ignoring what the GL have been in the past decades and all the rules they set on the rings and the character of Hal so he can have free reign with his own silver age fetishism. It's so strange it's so good.
Jess is a pretty neat character all things considered.
>Be a younger version of my retarded self
>Expected Sinestro Corps War to be an actual war where shit gets fucked up and is treated like a real war
>Instead we got Crisis on Infinite Earths lite with a hint of mint and lemon
Also I expected Earth to be like Space-Switzerland but again, I'm retarded.
>That video of John Stewart where he has a giant green construct kneeling on a Garbflob's Clubarq for a full 10 minutes
Non-anthropomorphic lives matter
Man that shit had a lot of potential, like it straight up could’ve been DC’s answer to Marvel’s Annihilation. Instead it was just another Crisis on whatever garbage that wouldn’t be relevant in a couple of years.
>Man that shit had a lot of potential, like it straight up could’ve been DC’s answer to Marvel’s Annihilation
I know shit about Marvel Annihilation. How did you thought Sinestro Corp War was gonna be?
I honestly though Sinestro Corp War Event was gonna be a galaxy spanning battle for survival, pitting the green lantern corp against Sinestro and his ever increasing armada of yellow lanterns. Characters like Adam Strange, Lobo, Hawkman, and even Martian Manhunter could’ve played a role as they struggle to fight off against the attackers, while Hal and the rest of his corp fight a bloody and pyrrhic death match against Sinestro. It basically would’ve been a battle of attrition and luck, with Earth not even being in the conflict.
I only got into GL when Rayner took over, so he was always my favorite. Haven't read in a while though.
Sinestro Corp War was my favorite arc. That was the last time I thought "how the fuck are they going to get out of this?"
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps is good
Eh, an entire Lantern Corps invading with Prime leading the way was neat. I liked it when Hal and Kyle straight up brawled with Sinestro
That Prime vs Sodam Yat fights is fucking legit. Go Prime!
I want to see Morrison take on Teen Lantern, maybe he can expand her character into something more interesting
These are people with rings powerful enough to destroy whole planets.
If they got in battles that lasted even a couple of months it'd probably wipe out a solar system.
I guess that is fair, especially with the inconsistent power scaling that is the DCU.
Yeah she kinda is.
Johns run really ages badly considering it glorifies the space police as a milita along with their authoritative ethics
That's because Jess is the prime example of what being a Green Lantern is all about. She went from a scared woman afraid to leave her own home, to a hero willing to stand up to Darkseid
Yeah I can honestly agree with that.
>I want to see Morrison take on Teen Lantern
Funny....I want to see her fucking forgotten
I haven't read much GL, just Will World, Johns' rainbow vomit, and the current Morrison run. I'm enjoying the Morrison run despite my usual irritation with bits of how he writes.

Green Lanterns are cop, a run on them should celebrate them, you're an idiot.
>>Favorite runs, arcs, and annuals?
Alan Moore's stories and Geoff Johns run. I also really enjoyed the madness of Emerald Twilight
>>Favorite green lanterns corp members?
Killowog and Tomare

Larfleeze is cool
>>Favorite supporting characters?
Other than those mentioned above, I really like the Guardians. They always provide drama
>>Favorite villains?
Definitely Sinestro. I think he's one of the best villains in comics.
>>Thought’s on Grant Morrison’s recent Green Lantern run?
I know I'm going to love it so I'm actually waiting for it to finish so I can read it all at once in collected edition.
