Going straight to video really killed the movie. They needed the theatrical aspect to set it apart but without it, it's just like the other billion direct to video movies, except like 4x more expensive.

I don't get why they're are trying for that now. Strike when the iron's hot. Besides Scooby the rest of those shows were old when I was a kid two decades ago. Would today's kids, or even thirtysomething parents, give a shit about Jabber Jaw or Captain Caveman?
