Remember Tutenstein?
Remember Tutenstein?
yeah
was a bit shit
I remember watching it as a kid hoping they'll do something interesting with him being a revived mummy and all. But from what I can recall they never went down the deep lore rabbit hole, so in the end it was kind of meh for me
I was fucking love it when i was a kif
I have pretty vague memories of it. It was good enough to be worth watching, but not really good enough to be properly invested in.
The depiction of Egyptian gods in this show is probably the most faithful to Egyptian myth I’ve seen in something Zig Forums related.
I have some promotional crossover comic where he meets Spider-Man and the X-Men
I remember being a fan of it and it's one of the factors that got me interested in archaeology
Does he toot up a storm tho?
Kinda. The memories keep getting mixed up with Mummy Nanny, probably other Egyptian themed things too.
WE
Oh yeah back when even slice of life shows were REQUIRED to have good world design/good powers/artefacts/gimmicks and a good healthy adventure side. Back when slice of life+adventure were one and the same, just like Dan Vs.
Nowadays we have shit like Bunnicula which is unadultered 10 minute slapstick shorts with 0 brains in it.
I liked it but I am bias to Egyptian themed stuff anyway. I say that but I only remember one episode, the one with the little doll minions and trying to get rid of them before sunrise.
2000s thread?
No but that girl is cute
>stein
Bunnicula got cancelled user, you have to learn to let it go
I remember getting all kinds of autistic about Anubis being a conquering death god in Mummy Returns.
>Mummy Nanny
I don't understand why western media wants to demonize Anubis so much. He's just a funny jackal trying to do his job.
I remember this was a Discovery Kids show along with that Kenny the Shark show, but don't have any real memories of it. Just vaguely watched them as a kid like 14-15 years ago.
Time Warp Trio was better
My siblings preferred Kenny the Shark while I preferred Tut
>meeting your descendants in the far future
>they're hot
Same reason Hades, Pan, Loki and King Yama always get treated always get the stick
Chtonic/Death/Trickster God= Devil
My memories of that show and Ruby Gloom must have gotten mixed together. Maybe because they're both sort of gothic and both of the intro songs are really catchy?

No, OP, but she looks like a little hottie. Are there lewds?
I enjoyed it.
I actually remember I got a copy of Jetcat Comics by Jay Stephens when I was 9 and Tutenstien was a character in it and I felt such a thrill as a young hipster knowing that "this cartoon is based of this indi comic nobody else knows about".
That was the one show that eluded me

Also get it mixed with this show oddly enough, guess it's all the colors and bugs

She looks like shit in the actual show itself.
No, but that girl is cute.
