I think that's kinda something that makes me hate it the most, PBs characterization is all over the place in the show for the longest time, so the personality they land her with when she ends up with Marcy just doesn't fit who she is for over half of the show

but this is a general problem of the later seasons, there is this fucking dumb ass woke line where PB says something about not needing to ask why people are a certain way just needing to respect it, which is 100% in conflict with how she used to act.
