Why do Americans think Santa lives in the North Pole? I was watching Futurama yesterday and they mentioned Santa living there, now I see the same shit in Paradise PD.
Santa lives in LAPLAND, FINLAND you fucking twats learn to Google or something.

He lives in Spain
Unlike Finland, nobody, except scientists, go to the north pole
OK, Skeletor.
MYAAH. And what the fuck is up with tipping EVERYWHERE? Don't you get paid working your jobs?
and why the FUCK do you absolute idiots dip your pizza? Who tf dips a pizza in ranch dressing? Gross
Of American was a cartoon girl, what kind would it be?
Why's it called a double cheese burger if you don't have double the cheese to patty ratio
This isn't an all-American thing, most of us just eat our fucking pizza without slathering it in anything. We just have the fattest fucks in the world who eat in the most disgusting ways.
Little known fact that skeletor lives in my house
What about canned cheese or 'American cheese'? Jesus Christ I swear you've contributed nothing to the world except Coca-Cola and the Vector W8
Why the fuck is New York named "The Big Apple"? there are not apple trees anywhere
Actually Skeletor, it's called "cheese product" as it doesn't meet the legal requirements to be advertised as "cheese"!
Does santa really love other places depending on where you learn the lore? Is the north pole a coke thing like the red suit?
This is a real problem, but varies depending on the place. The issue with the usa is that there are so many subcultures, that it can be really difficult moving the whole. In some places tipping can be part of compensation so employers don't need to pay full wages. There's been a lot of backlash on it, but we also struggle with real class inequality and a lot of people who have had jobs where they receive tips can be really defensive of the practice.>

Be mad at japan instead. They use mayo as a sauce. Don't gatekeep pizza, bro
Huh. You're right.
its a cold abandoned wasteland nobody in their right mind would stay
its the perfect place for a secret workshop
Why not make it in a warm abandoned wasteland nobody in their right mind would stay like Brazil?
Why's it called Disney Land if Disney doesn't own the land?
Shouldn't it be called "Orange County" Land?
Oh yeah, well then explain THIS!
OH MY FUCKING God because Santa's workshop is a real, existing thing in Lapland Finland and the fucking mythology says Santa lives there, why do you people want to twist the fact into something else cuz 'muh North pole'?

MWYAAAAH!
I thought that was an Australian thing.
Although some people who really can’t deal with spicy taste at all add ranch to pepperoni. Shit really works at getting rid of that flavor. Its basically the opposite if adding chili flakes.
But yeah, dipping is strange.
I’m going to guess its an old timey slang term that meant “good” or “valuable” or something.
> The earliest known usage of "big apple" appears in the book The Wayfarer in New York (1909), in which Edward S. Martin writes: Kansas is apt to see in New York a greedy city ... It inclines to think that the big apple gets a disproportionate share of the national sap.
> The Big Apple was popularized as a name for New York City by John J. Fitz Gerald in a number of horse-racing articles for the New York Morning Telegraph in the 1920s. The earliest of these was a casual reference on 3 May 1921: J. P. Smith, with Tippity Witchet and others of the L. T. Bauer string, is scheduled to start for "the big apple" to-morrow after a most prosperous Spring campaign at Bowie and Havre de Grace.[10]
>Fitz Gerald referred to the "big apple" frequently thereafter.[11] He explained his use in a column dated February 18, 1924, under the headline "Around the Big Apple": The Big Apple. The dream of every lad that ever threw a leg over a thoroughbred and the goal of all horsemen. There's only one Big Apple. That's New York.[12][9]
>Fitz Gerald reportedly first heard "The Big Apple" used to describe New York's racetracks by two African American stable hands at the New Orleans Fair Grounds.[13][9] Using racing records, Popik traced that conversation to January 1920.[9]
>In recognition of Fitz Gerald's role in promulgating "The Big Apple" as a nickname for New York City, in 1997 Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani signed legislation designating as "Big Apple Corner" the southwest corner of West 54th Street and Broadway, the corner on which John J. Fitz Gerald lived from 1934 to 1963.[14] The Hotel Ameritania also once had a plaque which was installed in 1996, according to Popik, but it was removed during renovations to the building and was lost.[9]
The Easter Bunny is the avatar of the German goddess Ēostre, who mandates that all must be happy and celebrate the coming of spring or she’ll take it away forever and leave an extra quarter year of winter.
But nobody cares, because myths change. Now he leaves stuff for children because something-something Jesus.
No-one cares about fucking Easter, mythology doesn't just change, Americans are just ignorant and can't be arsed to fact check before doing things.
Santa was taken from Norse lore, Wotan/Odin used to ride Sleipnir around leaving blessings to people who had placed oats in a sock near their door for the mount.
>mythology doesn't just change
I forgot that Loki going from trickster protagonist to Satanic antagonist was from a fever dream, and Empress Jingu being Amaterasu was a tumblr fanfic.
How do you make a MYAAH sound without lips?
dark magic
You do realize that Marvel movies are not actual Norse lore right
You do realize Norse mythology basically comes in three major editions based on how much Christianity contaminated it, right?
>putting 1/4 pound of cheese on a burger
What the fuck
Yes, yes I do. Wanna go deeper? Jews.
But this has nothing to do with Americans trying to force North Pole to be Santa's home when it's widely known to be Lapland.
It's just Americunts being stupid.
>But this has nothing to do with Americans trying to force North Pole to be Santa's home when it's widely known to be Lapland.
Americans also gave him Elves, first making him one then later making him more of a wizard who is their king.
Being Oberon or Gandalf is much better than just some random saint.
