Time for one of these threads, create an alternate universe for one of the big two!
Create an alt universe for one of the big two
Think I mentioned this before, Justice League of Apokolips, where all the Justice League members were born on Apokolips, thinking like the main 5, maybe Hal meets Raker Qarrigat instead of Abin Sur, Superman is taken in as an infant, that kinda thing
An alternate reality in which the Avengers are mafioso style criminals. They still have superpowers but as opposed to being heroes they rule the world through fear and intimidation.
Yeah, I know it’s dumb, shut up.
Ain’t that just the Crime Syndicate but with a Marvel pain job?
>Wonder woman is now a married woman with 2 kids who discovers her mother was an amazon and has superpowers
>Batman has had his whole life destroyed. parents died at much older age and lost all his wealth. still a hero.
>Superman and his parents came to earth. from an alien world that was conquered by zodd and become a dictatorship.
>aquaman is more like a gill man fro the black lagoon.
>Flash is a teenage speedster trying to find purpose in life after the accident. Has bad luck and only barely dose the superhero thing after school.
>Green lantern belongs to a corrupted imperialistic alien corp trying to expand. He not only tries to use his power to clean up the earth but the core it self.
what about the manhunter from mars
>He can't shape shift. He's sent to earth to be their ambassador and dose the super hero thing out of boredom but learns the meaning of heroism.
>Dr.midnight turns into a monster by night fall. But retains his intelligence
>The spectre is just a normal ghost trying to sole murders. Has semi clairvoyant powers
>Hour man has a new superpower ever hour. can't control which.
>Shazam is a grown man that turns into a super powered kid.
is this like a tangent type universe? i would love to see it
Sopranos League, or Batfellas
justice league but prehistoric
>caps shield count as brass knuckles too or like IW cap’s shields but smaller
>Tony’s armor is under his suit and has a sleek retro 30s-50s car aesthetic In the metal
>Hulk is grey hulk and used as a body guard or Joe Fixit
>Natasha is used to seduce targets
>Clint is a snyper
>Hank and Janet do some recon work and also rig gambling operations like in that deleted scene from Ant man
Marvel Tangent universe.
Names and terms from normal Marvel show up, but are reinterpreted and applied differently.
Somebody throw out some ideas for this.
I can suggest a few names at least.
>Wolverine
>Iron Man
>Carnage
>Doctor Doom
>Red Skull
>AIM
>Nick Fury
>Star Lord
Bats lives alone in a space station for years, after blowing his identity.
He investigates a weird crashed in earth. He founds and raise kal-el, a kid with powers.
Time later they found a dying green lantern who says, Doomsday is comíng.
When it arrives on earth, he injured bats. And kal-el has to put ir down, after a horrible fight.
Kal-el then sees himself as a god, and takes over earth, as ir saviour, stopping wats and visitin the congress.
Bats uses a body arnour to stop his son. The last kriptonian.
out of job league because their flash is not a jobber
>Spider-man as an incel neckbeard
>Instead of using his powers for good he climbs up walls to peep on girls changing
>Wonders why MJ won't date him, calls her a bitch and a dirty femoid for dating Flash, even though he's just gonna abuse her and cheat on her
>Has a red and blue designed fedora
>Climbing up walls makes him sweat just as much as walking up stairs
>Get's caught by J. Jonah, who no longer works in news but adult photos, blackmails Peter into getting voyeuristic shots, calls him by the nickname "The Menace"
A universe where Superman never came to Earth and Bruce's parents are alive. Joker and Lex Luthor are héroes and the only ones who can stop an alien invasion (Darkseid).

Don’t hang me, this is just an idea that I’ve been brewing in my head after rewatching part 5
Bruce’s Bizzare Adventure/the DC JJBA crossover universe
>Batman and the robins use hamon
>The stand virus came from Krypton, so kryptonians cannot get stands, and kryptonite can touch and harm stands
>amazons are an offshoot of the pilliarman species, do they are much taller, and turn to stone in the day
>Diana has to take a special medication in order to avoid turning to stone
>the various supervillains have an agreement with Passione, so they cannot act within their territory
>Martians are actually an offshoot of the unnamed species from part 4
>some, but not all of the JL members have stands
>Joker has a stand called Insane Clown Posse
>stands are made out of very similar energy to the emotional spectrum, so most lanterns have stands
>DIO is alive, he somehow revived himself
>the JLA occasionally get help from the Speedwagon foundation
>remember when you kissed that girl you liked but it was a stranger? You thought it was just some random dude... but it was me Barry!
let me know other ideas, such as what stands the JL and their villains could possesses, and what DIO and his minions are up to
>batman is a gay billionare who raised his kids except he does not fuck up with todd
>Flash is a gay young adult who falls inlove with batman
>krypton is much alive, however superman is the only kryptonian who was raised with freedom
>Wonder woman despises most of humanity, but later learns to love all peoples
>green lantern is the same, but Alan Watt was strunken with an solar beam and had the knowledge to create a green lantern ring, but had side effects.
>Jonn Jones is the last martian after the Kryponians took over Mars and killed almost all of the martians
>shazam was a victim of the world sex trade, and was saved by batman when he came to gotham
>he was later adopted by Clark
>the only kryptonian who was raised with freedom
How does that work?
Or are you saying he was sent to Earth and that's how he was free?
Justice League regulars retired in their 40s with family lives. Successfully passed the torch to a new generation of heroes. Yet they also try to give their children more opportunities than the cape life.
The story is how these middle aged capes try to keep their civilian life going. No more cape but still involved in justice.
Ok fine I’ll do it.
Far off in the future Mars is colonized by a company call Star Lord. The society is made up of the richest and most influential people of earth, who’ve moved to mars to escape the riffraff of earth. Everything in the society is done and controlled by machines, which are controlled by the AIM, the Artificial Intelligence Machine. The peaceful community on mars is taken over by a being who calls themself Doctor Doom. He hacks into AIM and has complete control over all of the machines. It is up to the son of an powerful business man, named Nick fury and his resistance to take down doom. His team includes his childhood friend who calls himself the wolverine, a reprogrammed soldier robot who is designed only for killing named carnage, and a mysterious masked woman called the red skull. They eventually find out that Doctor doom is full filling a prophecy that says once AI gets advanced enough, human and machine will form into one being, called the Iron Man.
Was hoping for something not quite so interconnected, but okay.
You remember that Spider-Man horror movie that Tobe Hooper was going to do in the 80s? Basically that universe but with all the other characters reimagined as well.
AU where Superman never stopped being his first appearance fuck you corrupt landlords, wifebeaters, and warmongers self, but he also didn't accelerate into being a fullblown tyrant.
So is Tony Stark going to get in a time loop?
Jor-El launches a rocket, but instead of containing a baby, it contains a recording: "My planet is doomed, but my attempts to convince my people have been unsuccessful. Therefore I have no choice but to send this message in the hope whoever finds it will be willing to come and save them from themselves."
Then I haven't really thought this through. I guess reverse engineering the rocket's technology turns Earth into a utopia, but the message is kept hidden until Lois uncovers it and convinces everyone they have a duty to try to save Krypton.
But wouldn't it have already asploded?
I like a weird early characterization world. Maybe Batman also never developed a no-kill rule and Wonder Woman never stopped being bondage-themed?
Yeah, just a world where the earliest heroes (and in Superman and Wonder Woman's case, most powerful) never stopped being unapologetic weirdos who aren't even going to pretend to conform to societal expectations.
Though I'm not sure how to stop that from degenerating into another"military vs heroes" thing.
Kara arrives on earth a few days after Kal-El takes/steals him from the Kents. Moves to Gotham and raises Kal as a teen single mother/older sister guardian. During that time, now in her early to mid 20's, she saves the Waynes from dying and also exposes her powers and abilities. The Waynes being grateful take her and Kal in. They pay to give them a proper identity as the head maid of the Wayne household and also sponsor her to be a hero for Gotham and make things better for it's citizens. Bruce and Kal become friends eventually Kal becomes her sidekick on adventures.
This takes place in the 1940's and she has Superman's first set of powers. Know what I mean? Bullet, Locomotive, Tall building. No actual flight or later power creep stuff.
Batman realizes it's crazy and ineffective after Year Zero. Ditches the cape and bat themed gadgets. Decides to follow dad's plan of improving social economic conditions in Gotham.
Superman gained flightnin the 40s.
Yea, but only because of the cartoons.
World without superpowers, but all the heroes still exist and have learned skills that are similar to their powers in the main universe.
So, Wolverine is a incredible field medic, can fight with knives.
Spiderman is a skilled gymnast and escape artist.
Sue Storm is a spy, excellent at going unnoticed in any situation.
That's the basic idea. My specifics are sort of shit, but I think it would be interesting. I like low power setting comics.
>My specifics are sort of shit
No, I like this.
Sues brother can be an arsonist.
Reed a contortionist or a double jointed doctor.
Ben I guess just a big tough guy.
Professor X could be a mentalist
Magneto a professor specializing in magnetic fields.
With Wolverine and Sue especially it sounds like you're setting up some kind of "wartime" thing. Is that about right or just a coincidence?
