People forget Finn was just 17 when the show ended. He had his whole life ahead of him, while Mordecai was in his fucking mid 20's and he was still spilling spaghetti.

Finn chasing after love interests is really one pathetic aspect of him atleast he grew up and I say this as someone who loves finn he's really one of the best characters in the show.

I’d say Finn is the bigger simp because he never seemed to get over bubblegum, Mordecai did get over both CJ and Margaret in his show it was annoying and cringe but he eventually did get over them in his show. Finn I do t think ever got over Bubblegum if he did I couldn’t tell.

Wrong! Mordecai never gave a damn about best CJ and Margaret broke it off with him and sent him into a long depression that he just accepted after some time. Finn however early on got fed up with PB's bs, told her off, and went on to other girls. Then pb and marcy continued to fuck up his future relationships

The fact that the finn statue in the intro for the finale was his kid self instead of an adult implies that either he died young or he never did anything notable as an adult and was forgotten. So its pretty likely he died alone and unloved

Finn can't really be blamed too much considering all the women in his world are super fucked up in one way or another, that and he's a kid/teen for the entire series.

Yeah I like Finn more but this is accurate. Even after "moving on" from her I was convinced Finn loved Bubblegum but still fervently served her because he just couldn't let go.

Mordecai never got over Margaret, his friends tried to pull him out of his depression over her to no avail. Time just passed till he maybe decided it was a waste of time to be depressed? Hell, if I know. Then he just ended up married to batgirl. If he heard anything related to a shot at Margaret I bet he would bail on bat in a second. The guy killed his best friend in anger over Margaret and would jump the gun at a mention of her. Finn atleast could see how one sided it was later, though PB lead him on/loved him in her youth. He always tried to talk out his feelings. Then he drew a line based on that. They're both simps but Finn told pb, whined for a period, and moved on to FP. Mordecai however was left ambiguous with a far worse track record and given a random variable. CJ is proof of how mordo EVEN while with someone else still would chase Margaret.

A decade or two later. We don't even know what happened to Finn.
