This is probably why Zig Forums is my favorite board, Zig Forums and /ck/ despite the fact that i never cook and barely watch cartons, i do read comics though.

Mostly shitposting on that, but a decent portion are and many of them are Zig Forums related. It's not a spectacular meme as much as a cool fan collective thing
But I think something like this is more likely to happen over there for several reasons
1. That board gets like 7x the amount of posts this board does daily
2. Every person on that board is obsessed with TLOU2 which is a "big" game and every person follows the same games and trends so they'll collectively work on something related to it. Meanwhile Zig Forums is more fragmented into its individual fandoms that make smaller works specific to those fandoms and threads. There hasn't been an absolute board-shattering show here in a long time. Closest recently was SU but most people here detested it so much
If you want to get technical, though people don't want to admit it, /mlp/ is largely also Zig Forums users if you want to see how autisticly creative Zig Forums can get if it's concentrated into one property

So by my count, that which is assuredly Zig Forums content only makes up 1% of the first half of the video, and they technically don't even count because they're adaptations of Zig Forums material, so no it definitely does not make up a decent portion of the collab at all.

The thing about Zig Forums being essentially a bunch of boards crammed into one sounds about right. I think it might also have something to do with comics and cartoons being visual media, which gives an elevated sense of what qualifies as acceptable art, so a lot of people are probably reluctant to post zero effort MS paint junk.
