Is it though? I don't recall that happening in the Ultimate universe, nor is it really ever brought up that much. Spider-Man: Life Story was the only one I remember it happening in recent memory.

That was great. Such a unique way to shock the audience to the presence of one of Spidey’s main enemies. She was the best villain in the movie too.

From the trailers they only showed her in her street outfit. I thought she'd be a scientist helping Miles get Peter B back to his universe or something.

Don't forget that she had firsthand evidence that being in the wrong universe will eventually kill you, and at no point in time did she feel that Kingpin needed to know that.

They should’ve gone further into what her agenda was, because she was clearly just using kingpin for something

Am I tripping? Because I could've sworn her goggles were octagonal as an early allusion to her being Doc Ock. It's what tipped me off before the reveal when I watched it for the first time.

Given that she's conspicuously missing from the arrested villains in the end, I suspect Spider-Verse 2 will reveal that the truck knocked her into a portal and she'll be the main villain trying to get back her her universe before she dies.

It's not something every piece of media should strive to do, but it's usually fun when a story has repeat watching bonuses. I'm sure some people noticed it the first time through, but I don't think most of us realized that she was fucking surrounded by octagons.
