I am still not sure what he is angry about either. He first truly remember what happened with the Salt Lizard and this started to make him realize that the more he looks, the higher the chances that the reality he remembers and built himself on will crumble. This was made worse when Tittybird have him clearly remember what happened after the events of the Salt Lizard. His brother probably has PTSD and burned the prisoners alive. Tittybird then reminded him of who he claims to be and that he should be going after the silver.
He then wakes up angry as fuck. Maybe he is blaming Cresce for what he just now realized happened to his brother.

I get where you're coming from, but mostly it's just the slow pacing of the webcomic format is the rough bit. If you can't handle update days with no crescians being murdered just do what Cope suggests and wait to read it until the whole chapter's done.
