Is it true that people younger than 25 are so weaned on the kind of super-low budget, abstract looking cartoon art that has been prevalent for the past 20 or so years that they find older cartoons (Looney Tunes, tradition Disney, etc) to be off-putting to look at?

no nobody thinks that you have made a fictional person also
>abstract
what?
>what
You might not believe this, but this isn't a Cartoon Network screengrab.
damn you calarts look at what you've done
You kids can't tell me you wouldn't want to buy a shitty toy or an Eggo Waffle shaped like this.
I prefer a lot of contemporary stuff compared to the psuedo tradionalist style you saw in 90s cartoons ie animaniacs.
Yes.
Seen people say OK KO is one of the most beautiful and best animated shows ever made
That's amazing.
Goddamn I forgot how ugly Samurai Jack was.
No, it's not true. You're literally making shit up just so that you can get mad at something. Seek help.
You might be right. My little one loves the new Muppet Babies. But when I tried to show her the original, she told me it was ugly and didn't want to watch it.
what?
>a better term would simply be "the beanhead style"
Or you can just call it what it is, the cheapest animation you can get away with and still get dumb kids to watch your trash lol
wat you say!
Sometime ago CN was airing old episodes of PPGs and I showed it to my sisters (9 and 11). They said that it looks terrible. Guess you're right
When you grow up eating nothing but shit, you prefer the taste of shit for life.
how does that make him right it could just mean your sister actually thought it looked terrible
It's a reply to who said no one is saying what OP is saying, so I linked a video of a dude saying that Gravity Falls is one of the best looking animated series ever
PPG is terrible looking though. It was a very simplistic. By design, but still not very good looking. Same with shows like Dexter's Lab.
I've even heard people on this board call old cartoons "over-animated". Not even referring to Disney theatrical stuff either, I'm talking cheap (for the time) tv crap like Tiny Toons.
Yeah, PPG and Dexter were some of the first super-cheap, simplistic cartoons from the late 90s. Granted, those shows got even cheaper and uglier in more recent iterations, but they started off that way.
I mean what's wrong with someone saying their opinion if someone thinks GFs looks great and honestly the weirdmageddon shit did look pretty cool how does that mean that they have been "weaned" to "super budget, abstract looking cartoon art"
On the other hand, "Over-animated" perfectly describes Star Toons Tiny Toons episodes.
Autistic kids get over stimulated when they see too much movement at once. It's why Thomas the Tank Engine is so big with them.
As a 20 year old I find both equally charming but have a bias towards sharp-edge cartoons cause they were my childhood. Grossology, Carmen sandiego vs adventure time, SVTFOE. They're all equal in terms of their art style in my eyes. But when it gets too bubbly like OK KO or Steven Universe I won't even watch an episode.
no
You sure about that?
That's just simply not true.
I'm 24 and I like traditionally animated stuff but I also like abstract-looking characters. Phineas and Ferb has a mixture of the two.
19 here, I watched a lot of older cartoons on Boomerang and liked a lot of the wonky stuff on Nick and CN. When Adventure Time first came out, I thought it looked weird but didn't think it looked very funny. Gumball was cool though
I've never heard of this.
