I feel like it would take about a week for her to start falling apart under that kind of consistent treatment. She spent her whole childhood being manipulated and degraded in a constant cycle of hurt-and-comfort. I think without the negative attention she'll have a hard time believing the positive is genuine and she'll start acting out to try and find your boundaries. When she doesn't find them, she'll start to walk over you and resent you like she did with Scorpia. She needs a firm hand.

I think Adora and Catra's relationship is going to be really rocky at first and then either turn very codependent and unhealthy or very kinky and structured. Mostly depending on whether Etheria has a BDSM subculture. It's a pity we won't have another season or eight to watch them explore that dynamic.
