I'd say he's pretty remembered. If only as "That weird villain Kevin Smith created". What's less remembered is Smith's darker, edgier version of Stanely & His Monster that appeared in his Green Arrow run. Then again Stanley & His Monster weren't that well remembered to begin with. Unless you're a major Phil Foglio fan.

Pretty much all the Batman rogues created by Grant and Breyfogle except Ventriloquist and sometimes Zsasz are forgotten. It's too bad too, they created some fun ones during that era.
Maybe? Bane has a habit of killing C-listers. I remember he killed Film Freak back when he first showed up in Knightfall.
