Star Wars Comics and Cartoons

So where is that rumored rebels sequel? I feel like I've been hearing about it for ages now.

Please no, Rebels is cancer. The whole of Lucasfilm should be fired
Ripping off the Old Republic and telling worse stories isn't good

The "Rebels sequel" leads to the Shit Trilogy. HOW can you be such a brainlet to forget?

If Disney are smart, they'd have it out in the unknown regions well away from the s*quels

>Ripping off the Old Republic
lmao

It boggles my mind that we're doing the Outer Rim garbage again when both Wild Space and the Unknown Regions exist. Make a prequel a Voyager-esque prequel where a large portion of a Republic Fleet is transported into another region of space and has little to no idea how to get home, if they can get home. It would give talented writers the creative freedom to do literally anything.

I don't understand the idea of doing a prequel series that you know ends up into a corrupt and stagnating Republic we see in the Prequels. If you wanna tell a prequel focus on the Infinite Empire, or Revan, or the Great Hyperspace Wars, farrrrrr away from the main series

As technically good as the final episodes were, I can't be the only one who thought they were laying it on a little thick with the whole "Jedi are bad guys too" bullshit right? Especially when you have the writers using Ahsoka as this really inconsistent, hypocritical mouth piece who was getting on Obi-Wan's ass about every decision.

If it's set somewhere new, they won't be able to bank on nostalgia.

The Jedi, especially by episode 3, were at least partially responsible for Anakin's fall considering how shittily they antagonized him at every turn. I think Lucasfilm doubled down on this and did the premise worse by making the Empire cartoonishly even and flanderizing the Rebellion and surviving Jedi as well.

Having a prequel series with OC Gary Stu Jedifags is literally the worst possible choice Disney Wars could have made
.

If Lucasfilm needs to bank on nostalgia to compensate for their shitty content then they need to reevaluate their strategy.

I'd rather the Jedi be treated like heroes than morally grey dicks all the time. It's very tiresome.

Ahsoka doesn't actually understand what truly makes the Jedi bad ()
This entire narrative about the Jedi acting as "warmongers" instead of "peacekeepers" makes no sense, specially because it betrays everything the show stood for until then.

>implying the Jedi aren't a bunch Gary Stus already

Look at this normie mad that he can't use the force

Well, you cannot, either.

An emotionless monastic order that serves an often corrupt Republic and has a holier than thou attitude towards the rest of the galaxy sound like amazing antagonists, if not villains if we go the Exar Kun route. The faction would be so much cooler if they weren’t the designated good guys and too often the target of lawful food self inserts IRL

Part of what made Ezra a shitty character is he wasn’t allowed to develop flaws or be at risk of falling to the dark side, and actually morally grey parts of the Rebellion were constantly out of focus or completely whitewashed by Lucasfilm’s shit writers

Heroes can have flaws or even tragic end though. The Jedi had aspects of this before Disney Wars

Its going to be live action

>Bo Katan literally gets away with Terrorism and Ahsoka sides with her
>Maul doesnt cut the beam
>Maul gets a magical powerboost for the sake of plot
>Ahsokas clothes are suddenly Beskar-Weave and blasterproof, yet Beskar in TCW doesnt protect against blasters, and not even Bo-Katan wears Beskar-Weave
>Ahsoka is able to fend off 30 odd clones for 5 mins but jedi masters die in like 10 seconds to about 5 clones

WOAH...SO THIS IS THE POWER OF THE SUPPOSED "GOOD WRITING" THE SIEGE OF MANDALORE HAS...

Well Rex gave her a warning so she could prepare. Most other Jedi didn't get the same chance.

You just know Ahsoka was wet as a wash clothe when she saw Anakin again.

Not even that
Jaro Tapal before he dies to about 5 clones that he knows are hostile to him

>Implying gary stu action hero Jedi Kyle = old republic

>Anakin and literallly everyone else in the council spent several days arguing in the temple and doing jack shit while Ahsoka was dealing with Sith Lord Darth Maul
How come no one has made mention of the biggest plot hole in Siege of Mandalore yet?

It was likely going to be revealed at Celebration. We'll probably see some virtual event or string of reveals take Celebration's place during which I'd hazard we'll also get our first look at the next season of the Mandalorian, possibly something about the Cassian Andor show, and maybe that Fallen Order sequel that I've seen speculation about.

How many issues is soules run in?

t. Lcs only bad Star Wars number 1

I wish we got Delta Sqwad instead of the Bad Batch

How do I find old collections of the Star Wars Empire and KOTOR runs? There used to be a general for where comics could be found but I don't see it anywhere.

They are fighting a fucking WAR. Deeps shit. 70% of the council was off World defending other planets. And the remaining masters left needed to protect the Temple and Senate. They just got finished fighting the CIS off the planet the couldn't leave themselves more open then they already were.

Wasn't Republic involvement there already stretching things in terms of authority and jurisdiction? It's not like there was a whole lot exactly to do in terms of support when it was needed anyways. My understanding is that the initial assault on Mandalore has too much overlap with the attack on Coruscant, and the uprising that Maul instigates before he unsuccessfully attempts to flee happens too suddenly for any help to even show up.

Besides, as mentions there are other goals right now due to an all-encompassing war. After the capitol was taken Maul was the primary item of concern on Mandalore, and the Jedi underestimating a threat is pretty on-brand for them.
