Am I the only one who missed ATLA threads and am glad to see people rediscovering it or viewing it for the first time? Good character development and good fight scenes.

It's nice to see new people enjoying the series. I'd say I didn't miss the Azula threads, but they never fucking went away.

I haven't seen it since it originally concluded back in what, 07/08? I honestly don't understand why people obsess over it so much.

I really want to fuck Ty Lee.

No one does.
Its poorly done marketing.

Finale Sokka vs Ep1 Zuko?

Finale Sokka

>good fight scenes
>it's actually breakdancing

I find it weird that people are only watching it because it's on Netflix. It's very sad how people won't seek out a TV show unless it's the in thing to watch.

It's one of the stronger blends of Episodic Series with an actual plotline to follow
A consistent set of themes that run through the characters without going all over the place
Strong character writing
Visually really cool

Its just a solid example of a tv show

Netflix is relatively cheap, and it's a 100% legal way of watching it. All the good pirate websites have hoops you gotta jump through, and online 'free' streaming spooks the normies. Pair that with the series being hard to find physically, (And folks don't have the patience to order it and wait), and suddenly it's sort of disconcerting how hard it is to find an old series these days through a 'legal' way.

I wasn't near Zig Forums when ATLA was airing, so I never got a chance to see the threads

I wonder what it was like, what were people screaming about when the series wasn't yet finished?

Mostly Ty Lee's tits.

Are bryke and aaron working on the live action?

9/10 you will find shitty low quality rips of it Netflix was a godsend

I'm going to re-watch it with my friend who is somewhat blind to the series

After he sees it if he's super into it make him watch the live action movie.

So he knows the same pain.

>find shitty low quality rips

only if you're lazy

Most Normies can't even find the low quality rips, keep that in mind

Hell yeah, hope he has a good time

Bullshit
Most of the "good" rips I've seen suggested here look like shit like that HUE crap, I do know where to find a very clean mega however and it takes some digging through the archive

Who doesn't? She's perfect in every single way possible

Good quality rips are easy to find.

Imagine her on her knees sucking you off.

I’m worried about all the political hot takes that will happen by shitlibs who’s only references are pop culture

About what? That this series is using fantasy asia or what?

The what?

The bad guys are not-japan
Heavy-handed allusions to the totalitarianism of not-china
A lot of the deeper themes are explicitly about toxic masculinity

I watched it in 2013 and am rewatching it now. It does so many things right and consistently. For someone who enjoys lore, good characterization, emotional moments, and incorporation of different inspirations there is no better cartoon.

all of those themes were intended by the show. it's as liberal as most other children's entertainment. older kid's shows were actually more PC than they are now, not less

I have and i will continue to do so

You do realize that when these ATLA threads are made, the Korrafags will bait the negligent masses into watching it next, with the mindset that it's a good sequel, if not better show than the original?

good. i want everyone else to feel the pain and disappointment i felt watching LoK for the first time

And she swallows your cum like a good girl.

imho the earth kingdom and fire nation aren't exactly but draw a lot of parallels from ww2 china/japan. you have an asian nation that's
>big
>partially occupied
>full of internal strife
and another one that's
>an island nation
>draws power from the (rising) sun
>war of expansion
>war crimes
>defined by a powerful navy
>which also have pagoda masts...
again it's not exact but there's a couple of similarities

Go find some porn, and stop roleplaying in a discussion thread, fag.

I don’t have any problem with the political themes in the show. Just be rolling my eyes if I start seeing signs like “Trump/Person I don’t like is Ozai!” Or like Bryan saying “Living here in trumps America is a lot like Aang/Sokka/Katara felt during their time in the Fire Nation.”

It’s tiring

Hot

guys it's because she is azula
