>The Wrap has updated its initial report (which has now been backed by all the major Hollywood trades) to include more details about Warner Bros.' plans to bring Michael Keaton's Batman back to the big screen. The site explains that the general plot of The Flash will revolve around the Multiverse, with "Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne [still] viewed as the future of the franchise."
>In other words, it's sounding increasingly likely that The Batman will be a standalone franchise not all that different to Joker. Regardless, The Flash will reportedly see the Scarlet Speedster travel back in time to prevent the death of his mother, an act which leads to the creation of another universe.
>It seems likely that this newly created world will be here to stay, especially as it's being widely reported that Keaton's Batman will stick around, acting as a mentor to a number of heroes (including Batgirl).
How about they do something GOOD? Is that too much to ask? Is that beyond their power?
Noah Flores
>How about they do something GOOD?
Like what?
Jason Perez
A script that isn't full of plot holes, grade school level symbolism and poorly written characters would be a fine place to start.
Aaron Myers
Batkeaton is everyone but the Batman. He killed, he killed with a gun, he killed with a bomb, he wanted to kill Joker, he killed everyone youtube.com/watch?v=XR5Iteeiq2M
Mason Morgan
I feel like they could write the greatest script of all time and you'd still find something to complain about.
Chase White
Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Jack Perez
So why should they bother trying to please people like you? You're just going to bitch no matter what they do.
Mason Howard
>So why should they bother trying to please people like you? You're just going to bitch no matter what they do. because otherwise they wouldn't make a money. Look at Birds of Prey
Owen White
I'm not going to argue with conjecture.
Brayden Garcia
Sounds cool to me. Michael Keaton is great.
Easton Jackson
>because otherwise they wouldn't make a money
There are more normies than there are diehard comic book fans who flip their shit if Superman's cape is the wrong shade of red.
Noah Young
Revisiting a relatively old depiction of a character is novel by capeshit standards. While that kind of thing is not new to Hollywood, in superhero movies the vast majority of the time if a character has been off the screen for long enough, or there's a new director, or they just feel like it, they recast.
Leo Baker
>I feel like they could write the greatest script of all time Track record shows they can’t
Logan Scott
But even if they did you'd still complain. You don't want good movies. You want movies you can whine about. Tell me I'm wrong.
Alexander Taylor
>But even if they did Well we won’t know until they do
Camden Ortiz
You could also champion for retcons with that argument.
James Lewis
They never will, because your standards are so high that nobody could ever meet them.
Brayden Parker
>They never will Now who’s complaining?
Landon James
Can we have something new?
Henry Phillips
My standards are laughably low, I think Robotrix was a good film. And yet it's objectively in terms of plot, dialogue and cinematography better than any Marvel or DC film of the last decade.
Benjamin Cook
DC fans can't stop winning. I fucking love being a DChad
Brayden Reyes
Seems like they heard the rumors of the MCU bringing in Tobey-man and want to get ahead. Not complaining.
Anthony Gutierrez
>They already have their Nick Fury character - and an excellent actress at that: Waller.
Waller absolutely does not work in a Nick Fury capacity.
Carter Collins
>There are more normies than there are diehard comic book fans who flip their shit if Superman's cape is the wrong shade of red. Yet still they aren't made cash for Snyder-flicks
Aaron Perez
It's okay when Michael does it because muh nostalgia.
Jack Nelson
Well you getting. Bat-family now will be leaded by black woman (unless the chose to make Cassandra DCEU's batgirl)
