Where does Marvel go after Thanos?

Where does Marvel go after Thanos?
Marvel built everything in their company, from comics, games and even the cartoons, to hype up this guy, and now that Endgame is over, where do they go now?

>annihilus
>kang
>secret wars
>focus more on smaller stories

Kang is a terrible choice when Endgame was a time travel film.

>Marvel built everything in their company, from comics
Yes, every single Marvel title since the 60's were building up to Thanos.

Something something Doom becoming omnipotent something something

It's not like Marvel has many stories that aren't about either Doom or Thanos becoming omnipotent.

Alternatively, End Game set up a better time travel story by getting the attention of Kang. It also allows the audience to assume they know where everything is going because they saw End Game and know how time travel works.

No it'd be a perfect way to follow it up. Avengers fucked with time, now Kang wants revenge.

Is this a joke?

Doom

Kang is now a Stark descendant, making Iron Lad more organic. Young Avengers soon

>Avengers fucked with time, now Kang wants revenge.
Revenge for what?

Ok, recent comics. You can't deny how much they wanked him the past decade

But doing the MCU's greatest hits kind of tired. Where do you time travel then?

No idea if this is still the plan, but at one point Feige said that going forward, they weren't going to spend ten years building towards a single guy any more. They'd probably spend one phase building towards a threat, then have it resolved with an Avengers movie.
They still have stuff to work with. There's Kang, Galactus, Annihilus, The Beyonder, the Calculator, they've got options.

Galactus

Kang is very touchy about people going around and messing with time. People other than him.
Complete and total global conquest. Like in the comics.

Galactus would be largely unsatisfying.
>>All physical heroes useless.
>>Characters who hurt him shoot pew pew lasers
It's just not an interesting fight.

Ya know, we never really got an MCU film where battles actually leak outside one contained area.

>Ok, recent comics
Fuck no
>You can't deny how much they wanked him the past decade
Starling doing his thing is nothing out of the ordinary.

Doom, "true" Mandarin, Glactus...

Interdimensional, multiverse threat.

Doom
Kang
Annihilus
Masters of Evil
Galactus
Kree/Skrill war, Secret Invasion
Secret War(s)
Annihilation
Dark Reign
And then mutant shit once enough time has passed.
Magneto, House of M, Phoenix, Apocalypse, etc.

Starlin, fucked that one up.

Starlin non stop wanked him since the beggining

>NOOOO YOU TRAVELLED THROUGH TIME ONLY I CAN TRAVEL THROUGH TIME!
Is this really the motivation of this motherfucker? No wonder Marvel fans think that Dr. Doom is complex, if this shit is what Marvel usually serves.

Are you fucking blind? Thanos was wanked so much. The event Infinity was half his story, he then was in stuff leading up to Secret Wars. The Guardians of the Galaxy constantly had Thanos threats. There was also Bendis using him for that Avengers Assemble book. Thanos even had his own ongoing. And that's all ontop of Starling using him. Thanos has been used a ton this past decade, and that's just the comics.

Kang mastered time travel and knows everything, so anyone that gets in his way will piss him off.

Yeah, but they foreshadowed Abstracts in Guardians 2 so we should see them someday

Is that his motivation? Is that what makes the character such an awesome villain?

A Galactus film should be done, but not be an Infinity War tier film.

>Marvel's biggest villain is just a lame rip-off of a DC villain
kek

He has a specific plan for how he comes to control the whole planet in the future where he lives. When people fuck with time, he loses his control, and goes to try to stop them. Personally I think he mostly sucks, but I'm sure you could do something fun with the character.

>Build up X-Men with individual movies then team movies just like you did Avengers
>Scarlet Witch snaps
>X-Men vs Avengers
>Make all the marketing around picking a side like that vampire vs werewolf movie
>Have Wakanda side with the Avengers so the civil rights undertone isn't so clear cut
