No one cares, jackass
It's not even an argument of "should".
It IS canon.
No it isn't
it's glorified fan-fiction. Death of the author uncanonize it.
tf you so mad for big homie?
But Death of the Author hinges on us knowing the intent behind the work, which, even Barthes himself explains, we cannot.
you put it out there, it no longer belongs to you. Korra can be whatever the audience wants it to be. I choose to believe that everything after the S3 kiss was a dream.
Dumbass
>Korra can be whatever the audience wants it to be
Except all the stuff we saw, because that's what happened in that world's history.
Don't care. Korra sucks and shouldn't be canon.
>Don't care
Delusional and wrong retard
I can choose to pretend that didn't happen, and so can you.
>wrong
no such thing
>delusional
sure
But we'd be wrong in doing so, so I'll stick to being right.
>no such thing as wrong
Now I know this is bait.
>Death of the author
Yikes, (You) just posted cringe!
If writers drop the ball so hard on a beloved series, why is it so wrong to elect to pretend that it never happened? If everyone just acknowledged that Korra isn't canon, then it wouldn't be, because there's power in what people believe, not in what is.
Just because you're mad at Korra doesn't mean it's not canon. The show had a bad sequel. That doesn't mean it's not canon. It just means you have a hard time dealing with imperfections.
Canon? canon to what? there are two major pieces of avatar media, korra is one of them. accept that and move on. the previous characters all go exactly where you expect them to go, most of the things that happen in the world are pretty logical and barring possibly one major change to the avatar state, nothing really that different lore wise. Just accept it. its fine. move on. Stop being a piss baby.
>imperfections
korra is worst than an imperfection. It never should have happened. In light of this, I don't see why it's so bad for everyone who didn't like it to pretend it didn't.
>It never should have happened
Says who?
>I don't see why it's so bad for everyone who didn't like it to pretend it didn't.
You can do that all you want, but when you openly claim and try to convince others that it's not canon, you look stupid because you're wrong.
>the previous characters all go exactly where you expect them to go
no they don't.
>Just accept it
"No."
Nothing about Korra is logical. We should have known from the jump that it was gonna be a disaster. The only reason things jumped from such archaic technology in a old timey world to the fucking 1920s is because Brian wanted to have a steampunk vibe for things regardless of whether or not it would make sense. The entire progression of the world doesn't make sense and comes across as a fever dream. And that's not even mentioning the characters.
>because you're wrong.
Says who?
>shouldn't
But IT IS. Sorry.
The very definition of canon.
>But IT IS.
only according to Bryke who clearly weren't responsible for the greatness of the original series. They're incompetent and have no authority.
korra isn't good though. Just let it go. Pretend it didn't happen. Let it fade into obscurity like the movie.
>They're incompetent and have no authority.
They wrote the series bible and had the major story already figured out from start to end at the pitch. They have all the authority.
I never said Korra is good. It's heavily flawed
But it is canon. Why don't you let your "Everything about Avatar must be perfect!" fantasy go and join us in the real world?
If you feed me shit, i'm going to spit it out. You can't make me swallow it. Fuck their authority.
#KorraIsNotCanon
>Everything about Avatar must be perfect!
Everything about Avatar was perfect, though, because Korra isn't canon.
I've fed you nothing but the truth. You keep denying it.
>hashtagging
Maybe you should go back to Twitter. The way you've been presenting yourself, it seems more your speed.
I wouldn't even call it heavily flawed.
However you describe it, it's still canon.
Whether you want it or not, Korra is canon. It the continuation of The Last Airbender. You people are worse than Snyderfags.
>Everything about Avatar was perfect, though
Even ATLA had flaws
>because Korra isn't canon.
Denial
Delusional
Dumbass
While most of us have accept it as canon, albiet a very shitty canon, and wish it would just die in a hole alone and unloved. And other still try and delude themselves into thinking it isn't. A lot of the original crew left, and their spaces were filled, mostly by women from what I can find. Even still, there is hope that some day someone might get control of the IP and retcon the entirety of Korra as a fever dream, ala the rumors of Star Wars.
Same page.
>it's still canon.
canon is arbituary.
me neither, it's trash.
>Denial
>Delusional
>Dumbass
Mad
Angry
Seething
>dude Aang was a shit dad lol
No Korra is not canon.
I am here to ask the real questions
strawpoll.me
But until that day, it's canon.
begone coomer newfag
>it's canon.
the people say otherwise.
>canon is arbituary.
It's absolutely not.
>Mad
>Angry
>Seething
None of the above. Just trying to help you understand why you're wrong.
>Characters shouldn't be allowed to have faults
I bet you loved TLJ too.
Those people are unquestionably wrong.
it's okay to admit that you are upset
it's also okay to admit that you're wrong. Korra is trash, and I reject it, therefore it is not canon. say 65% of the people invested in the show do this. Is it still canon based on the opinions of two men and faggots like yourself?
>Characters should have faults to facilitate drama
Aang would have been a kickass dad, cuz even that ONE photo from like S1 Korra, Aang never really grew up. And a dad that can be immature would be loved by his kids.

Try again
but they are the majority.
A) They're not
B) Even if they were, the majority can be wrong
incorrect.
Retroactively shitting on an established character to create drama is shit writing.
How does pushing a narrative that Aang was a bad father to his kids improve his character long after hes dead?
That new trait did nothing but create a pointless subplot between Tenzin and his siblings, but it retroactively ruins the image we have of Aang for cheap drama.
Not even the slightest bit upset.
>Korra is trash, and I reject it, therefore it is not canon
No, that should go more like:
"Korra is trash, and I reject it, but I can deal with the fact that a show's legacy is bad."
It happens all the time. Grow up.
>Same page of my own
You do realize you made it sound like it was the page I pulled my screencap from?
>"Well, it wasn't"
Then why say "Same page"?
So it was true, Aang neglected his kids besides Tenzin?
>"Korra is trash, and I reject it, but I can deal with the fact that a show's legacy is bad."
I see you have not yet arrive at the radical conclusion I came to. I was in your position once. But now I understand that as individuals and as a mob, canon can be whatever we want it to be. If enough people say it's not canon, it isn't.
A poll on Zig Forums =/= every fan of the series.
I can't believe that after all this time, Korra still lives rent free in the minds of faggots like OP. Unbelievable.
How you interperet it incorrect is no business of mine.
I didnt greentext alluding to it being connected to you, even AFTER samefagging.
