Still loving this arc. Its been great to see the gang organically recoup after losing Splinter and this new comfiness is fucking comfy.

They literally have all the needed elements to make interesting stories about what's going on with the Earth Defense Force, Stockman, and even Hob......but let's continue the next story arc with bullshit about time traveling even though that's usually when TMNT turns horrible. And worse for no reason at all what's her face the turtle girl is now randomly a time traveler.

The last few years under Waltz were so crammed with nonstop action, a nice breather was refreshing. Give everyone a chance to deal with grief without a threat, and let them all just fucking talk for once. How long has it been since Raph got five minutes with Allopex without Angel shoving her face in there going "there's trouble at the docks" or some shit? The occasional "Northampton" story is a good thing, keeps the cast from turning into one note grizzled hardasses.

Could have been a decent concept if they were actual animals that got mutated and took over territory under Hob. But nope just a bunch of humans. Some of which help Hob even though he destroyed their lives. Awful writing.

I'm pretty okay with the EDF just being firmly in the background for a year or so. Got real fucking sick of Bishop's shit, and I doubt it's better without him.

There were plenty of bad segments and this is one of them. Alopex pretending to be one of the teenage mutant ninja turtles and wearing a green mask? Dumb. Even dumber is how she already has those color fur markings on her face. So the green mask is intrusive to her character design.
