How much has the show changed since season 1?
It's much more tame and boring.
I dropped the show years ago because they barely used the characters.
Things maybe changed, I don't know, but in the past we would get two sister specific episode per year (if you weren't Lori or Lola), but we would get like a billion Clinclon McLoud episodes per year
havent watched the show but everytime I saw a clip or flipped to the channel at a friends house the baby was on screen farting or pooping
is there a lot of toilet humor in this thing?
I think shes cuter now
Better.
Season 1 was basically “Lincoln tries to find a way out but his sisters say no and he gets shame on unfairly”
I love her.
With half being easily replaceable with Lincoln and a sister while a 1/4 being better with one of his other friends and last 1/4 not needing to be made at all.
Season 1 is radically different from what the show eventually became . For better or for worse.
why are lola, lucy, and leni the absolute winners in this cartoon, and all other sisters are trash in comparison?
Lola has writer who loves her. Lucy is goth so has an easy formula to write for. Leni is shit that is a warning sign for shit options.
leni is cute and adorable and pure.
how dare you disrespect her.
Because leni is pure and sweet, lola is funny and has the most spirit, and lucy has the tightest pussy
I’d say that’s an improvement
Kids often don’t act their age in cartoons, but she’s fucking 4
she's 8 user...
What good is authentic 4 years old for a comedy?
Why is she so obsessed with shit?
I know, oh i know user
You're right. Lisa would have the tightest. You may think it would be Lily but she's a ____ ____
disgusting peodphiles
Where do you think you are
Jesus Christ, I made this almost a year ago....
You made that like a few months ago
you do realize that she nearly cucked bobby with some brittish chad she just met, right?
in the moment something better appears, you are getting your ass replaced boy.
>youtube.com
This is why we call her whori
The show is no longer about a boy and his misadventures trying to survive his extraordinary family. The family dynamic in general is in the rear-view mirror.
The show now picks out a sister to be the main character per episode with an eleven-minute plot that may or may not make use of their core gimmick. Lincoln doesn't get episodes anymore; instead, we get Clincoln McCloud episodes with his group of friends and a token brown girl that has replaced Ronnie Anne.
A time skip is planned that will remove Lori from the show and move everyone up a grade.
I remember when it first released. The cuck fearposting was crazy that day.
>A time skip is planned that will remove Lori from the show and move everyone up a grade.
and we can be assured that the fact lori will be gone to college will make for a good line of episodes leading to character development, right?
Did adding Poof or Chloe lead to character development on Fairly Oddparents?
I can't believe Lisa was naked.
Buckle in, I wrote a retrospective.
Season 1
There's about to be a shit ton of talk about Lincoln and his character, but it's necessary. In the first season, he was THE star of the show. He was the one that broke the fourth wall to talk to the audience, every episode was from his perspective, and his sisters, in spite of getting spotlight episodes as his co-star, weren't really fleshed out at all, save for the constant reinforcement of their singular traits.
It's suggested that Lincoln and his siblings are hypercompetitive for attention from their parents, and that his scheming is a product of his environment. While of course Lincoln is wrong in his actions, there's this strange vibe that it's wrong only because he gets caught, whereas the other siblings are okay because they're better at scheming and lying than he is. It's downright odd how he's singled out at times.
In "The Loudest Yard", Lincoln uses Lynn to get out of playing football. The two are caught. Lincoln's parents are mad at him, but not Lynn, despite the fact that they were lied to because of her part in it. Because she's good at football? At another point, in "Dance Dance Resolution", four of Lincoln's sisters make promises for him to take one of their friends to the dance. Again, you would think that the sisters would be mad at each other for all having the same idea and their dates set up for Lincoln conflicting with each other's. Instead, they get mad at Lincoln for a situation that was entirely of their own making, and even after they're made aware of it, they coerce Lincoln into going, anyway. I can't stress enough how bizarre this is.
another show with potential gone to the drain...savino should had put the damn thing on netflix or [as].
It happens again in "In Tents Debate". While it is Lincoln's idea that the kids vote on where to go for their vacation, why wouldn't the parents have a say, but the baby does? In "Chore and Peace", Lincoln doesn't so much want to stop his chore altogether as he wants to just switch with another sibling. Only after they refuse does he decide to go on strike. He's at fault for that, but then all the other kids lose their moral high ground when they do the same with their chores. And yet, at the end, Lincoln is the only one that is blamed. And in "Picture Perfect", the sisters take rightfully take offense when Lincoln says they messed up his first picture. But earlier in the episode, they're trash talking Lincoln's gifts for his parents' anniversary and talk aloud about what a loser he is, even after Lincoln mentions that he's in earshot. Luan also apparently gets a pass in "April Fools Rules" in spite of the pain and destruction her pranks cause on the holiday, simply because the family can't browbeat her into submission like they can with Lincoln.
Probably one of the most confusing is "Save The Date". Despite the show's suggestion that Ronnie-Anne bullies him mercilessly, Lincoln is in the wrong to say that he doesn't like her indirectly to his friends, albeit in a rude way. Lori never seemed to care - until she reveals that Ronnie-Anne is the sister of her boyfriend, Bobby. Why would she never intervene or threaten to break up with Bobby over her own brother getting bullied? Even if it's because they know that Ronnie-Anne likes him? It's clearly not appropriate. And how would Lincoln not know that Ronnie-Anne is Bobby's sister? Why's the onus on him to keep the peace? Again, bizarre.
There are some wild swings back and forth on his self-image. From being secure with himself (Sleuth or Consequences), to efforts to become popular (Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru), to needing to validate himself (Making The Case, A Tale of Two Tables, Roughin' It), to trying to control his family's image (Picture Perfect). And in one episode, he's shown to be so comfortable with his body that he nonchalantly reads comic books in his underwear, even with the rest of his sisters being in the same room. Because of how muddied this part of his character is, his ambitions also fluctuate quite a bit. Again, in "Roughin' It", Lincoln and Clyde are shown going out in the wilderness with very few supplies where they could possibly die, just to prove a point to themselves. In another episode, "The Loudest Yard", Lincoln wants absolutely nothing to do with exercise, to the point where he recruits Lynn to help him lie about playing football.
Another major factor of his character is that his intelligence is largely in question, both in terms of knowing how to talk to people and how well he does in school. The only consistent trait is that he seems to be skilled at manipulation, but his skill at lying sometimes works spectacularly (Green House), and other times the girls figure him out almost instantly (Sound of Silence). As for his grades, it's implied that he does well enough, save for a few projects that most kids might need help with, like models and such. In "Making The Case", he comes across as a huge moron for being surprised at the fact that his siblings hate that he uploaded humiliating video footage of them.
