Even Goku can beat superjobber so that other guy wins

Aren’t there a lot of Ultramen? Is that one even the strongest?

There are dozens, if not hundreds of them in the Space Garrison. Probably more. The one in OP is base Ultraman, who's basically the weakest of them all.

Tsuburaya Ultraman would win

>superjobber
Be nice to Ultraman

Though even in the case of OG Ultraman, he's capable of tanking Planet-Nuking bombs, rearranging numerous stars just to create a constellation for one monster, and entering entirely different galaxies in seconds giving him septillions of times FTL.

Dude is insanely busted.

His 3 minute time limit wouldn't be an issue either because it seems that it lasts for however long the writer feels like it. Sometimes it runs out in one minute and sometimes it keeps going for the entire episode.

IIRC the canon reason for the timer is that the Ultras need Light in order to function at peak capacity. The Earth isn't like the Land of Light so they're all massively limited and have to get what they can from the sun, which is massively filtered due to the planet's atmosphere.

In space, they can freely take in as much light as they want, which is why them timing out there is much more rare.

>implying

This.

What if Ultraman takes on Superman as the host?

Not much, after his three minutes were up he'd just turn back into Superman and solve the problem anyway.

I don't think the host affects the actual Ultra that much, they're just a container for all that power. Most of the time they either bond with a human to save that human's life or just take a host because Earth's atmosphere is so toxic they can't stand prolonged exposure. Some Ultras just take on their own human forms so they can travel icognito and learn about humanity.

Wouldn't alter much aside from giving them a host that can reasonably defend themselves even without the Ultra themselves acting.

Ultraman takes this with mild difficulty.

Hayata-Ultraman couldn't lift Skydon. He gets pulped pretty easily. youtube.com/watch?v=VvK7vC0I9eY

First episode of Ultraman clocks Ultraman as going mach 5. Don't he and Zoffy need to create an energy-ship around themselves to fly through space?

Eh, it varies. OG Ultraman is a weird series where one episode shit like that is happening, and then in the next one he's casually creating constellations out of multiple stars. In another, he's getting pummeled with rocks, and then immediately after that he's going to other galaxies in settings and fighting at massively FTL speeds.

The majority of Ultra enemies also Scale to them as well, so it's hard to judge relative strength a lot of the time. Some random looking beasties could literally be a star wrecker and it wouldn't be obvious on first watch.

See . The first episode also doesn't really say anything. He does shit like this as early as episode 15 (the constellations episode).

He's just broken when you take his general feats into account. Kinda like how Zetton doesn't look like something powerful, and yet it spams trillion degree fireballs.

>Crying constellation
LMAO!

The mach 5 thing comes from the narration shortly after the first beta capsule transformation.

Ultraman wiki says Gavadon turned into a constellation by himself. That somehow can only be seen on a certain day in July.

Ultraman is a weird series. Like a REALLY weird series. A lot of people forget that it started out as a borderline surreal horror franchise at first.

And then we also have that time he took a nuke and flew it into deep space in under ten seconds, which (massively lowballed) gives him an excess speed of 22320 mph or Mach 29.090183. Not even mentioning him flying to different galaxies in seconds. OG Ultraman is fucking contradictory when it wants to be. His speed is literally "whatever the writers want it to be."

I don't trust wiki statements like that as far as I can throw them. Given what the episode itself shows, Ultraman just fucks off into space with the thing, then boom. Constellations.

>A lot of people forget that it started out as a borderline surreal horror franchise at first.
The episode with Dada was a trip and a half.

Look at this absolute lad.

This sounds about right.

It also never runs out in the Land of Light. For obvious reasons.

The strongest two Ultras, King and Noa, are basically magic so they could literally curbstomp Supes no issue.

Even in terms of power scale, OG Ultraman could tank Superman's attacks pretty well, outside of the 3 min power limit there's really nothing Superman has that can counter Ultraman

All Ultras are magic, when you really get down to it. They're Christian space angels fighting space demons.

Is it basically magic or actual magic? Because Superman takes hits from Black Adam and Shazam pretty fine

Supe wins
