Why did they let this little faggot roam the country unsupervised? As soon as he meets any adversity, he's going to go monster again and kill thousands without the gems to hug him down. I don't care that he's seeing some suspicious internet therapist. He's a ticking time bomb who reacts dangerously to mild trouble.

honestly knowing him I think hes more likely of getting mugged and fucked in a back alley in some third world shithole like California
how would you mug the strongest human alive?
Not everyone in the world is as shitty as you
Telling him he's pretty
TPBP
That's my point. He's going to get molested in a truckstop restroom and start lashing out.
He'll like it though
I prefer to think he self medicates by hanging out at glory holes
He won't meet any adversity that isn't token. He will be considered "likeable" to 99% of characters that he runs into because he is without flaw nor blemish other than flaws and blemishes that make him look more virtuous while making his opposition look foolish and villainous.
He will never fail other than in a good way, and never lose other than in a sympathetic way.
Wasnt there like a couple month inbetween where he got therapy and a promise that he and connie will meet up in a couple of places thanks to lion or some shit like that.
Even then most of his greivences that led to such an outburst had more to do with his childhood of fighting monsters, ending wars and being everyones personal therapist.
That was true before future, but now he's a nervous wreck with unresolved adandonment issues.
It's almost like making a timeskip that prevents us from seeing the character actually get better gives the audience little reason to believe they will be better now.
>now he's a nervous wreck with unresolved adandonment issues.
Yes, a nervous wreck that is loved by everyone and whos actions have no consequence. Fucker killed a gem and attempted to kill another in less than 24 hours and didn't suffer jack.
The world of Steven universe is a hollow ass piece of filth where all you need to do to get away with crimes is cry about it.
Steven is the strongest thing in his setting. Nobody "let" him do anything.
>Future was a bad representation of issues mental health and downplayed how serious they are
Oh, and the fact the writing was shit for the most part too. Prove me wrong.
He literally has a portable safe space wherever he goes.
Not to mention if he ever needs a breather he can just buy an scuba diver air tank and mouthpiece and call lion to hang out in his mane for a while.
>Refusing to admit he needed help and was having problems almost destroyed his entire life
Seemed pretty serious to me.
>Lesbian writers have poor grasp of mental health
Go figure.
Steven should really have a warp pad installed on his car if he's gonna wander the American northwest.
>Why did they let this little faggot roam the country unsupervised?
He's basically a god, they couldn't stop him if they tried.
I meant more so the fact he magically reversed with a group hug. That and he developed PTSD as late as he did. He has should obvious signs of fear and guilt in the OG series, but he has shown no signs of serious PTSD like a normal person would have and when the would have. They just gave him that when he did so they can have some lazily written message about looking after your mental state - which is a good lesson, they just wrote it HORRIBLY.
Here's a reviewer who has actual mental health issues explaining why. He says it a hell of a lot better than I ever could.
youtube.com
>Fucker killed a gem
She got better!
The trigger was him thinking he was a monster you retard, not just being being angry or sad.
Warp Pads are too big
They should have kept her dead so that scene had actual weight and not just a rating stunt.
The mental health shit in the show is extremely accurate to IRL cases. The fact you're linking to some YT tard showcases how badly you failed to grasp this. Easier to just claim "bad writing" than actually think.
>Rating stunt
>After the show was already over
Want to know how I know you're a mongoloid?
Fucker, explain to me why then. At least I gave a source, you're just saying 'hurr durr shuddup retard.'
He had a literal mental breakdown himself not long after that and threatened suicide. To say he's projecting and unable to actually address his own problems is an understatement.
Checked the truth
if you had actually watched the video you would have seen that they bring up how what Steven is going through isn't exactly PTSD but another mental disorder. People just label it ptsd because its the popular thing to do now: any mental anguish is automatically ptsd.
>he magically reversed with a group hug
The only thing that magically reversed was the magical change. The rest was over months of therapy.
>he has shown no signs of serious PTSD like a normal person
That makes sense considering he's not a normal person.
>44:06
lol, I'm good thanks.
Believe in Steven bitch
that just makes it worse
>Steven Universe is a show about love and acceptance, and how everyone can change if you show kindness!
>Except Jasper, that bitch deserved to be shattered. Now that shes deformed and subservient, only NOW she can change.
Why would they do that when we already know he can revive the dead? It would just leave everyone questioning why he didn't.
Everyone has different ways of getting to change, Jasper was treated great by a society which discouraged change so she was happy with not changing. Hyped up as a legend and the best warrior ever
its a shame he didn't have a whole alien race to be his friend or magical gem artifacts that can ease up any hard decision he has in life.
Its such a surprise that someone in real life who has had unfortunate consequence because of their mental health would be angry that a kids show portrays a similar mental health in a way where everything works out and there are no bad consequences whatsoever
what would have been really interesting is if he explored the universe and became some sort of space ranger or something out of starbound.
We've seen ones as small as 6 feet wide, big yeah but Peridot could easily affix one to a vehicle for Steven.
>Jasper was treated great by a society which discouraged change so she was happy with not changing. Hyped up as a legend and the best warrior ever
Jasper was not treated great. She was the best of trash, but thats still trash. She failed to protect her Diamond and was only kept because she was of use. You never see any statue of her or anything like that on Homeworld. The fact that pathetic ass rubies are the only ones that admire her (and even then, only one of them really knew about it) should tell you the level of "fame" she had.
And even if that wasn't the case, the main problem is that the show basically says there is no real way to deal with those people unless you hurt them deep enough that they become subservient to you. It doesn't offer a complex and different solution beyond hugs, kisses and crying. Basically saying that unlesss you are able to be emotionally available, youre fucked. And some people aren't emotionally available because of some personal grief or trauma, not just because they are dicks.
He's got Lars for that.
You have to be personally available to change, nothing will happen unless you make yourself open to it, people can try all the ways under the sun but it won’t matter because it takes effort from you
>what would have been really interesting is if he explored the universe
that would imply anyone from the crew actually caring enough for this world to explore the universe in a show called Steven FUCKING Universe
To be fair, his dad got it from a song.
What exactly is a human therapist supposed to do that the diamonds couldn't? Telling him to pop a Xanax won't work better than the blue clouds.
